Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen VG 10 Grade) @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for open graded premixed carpeting 40 mm thick using waste plastic( 8 % by weight of bitumen) coated aggregates and bituminous binder of grade VG-30 as per IRC SP 98 2013. The aggregates for bituminous carpet 40mm thick open graded shall be composed of 13.2 mm graded size @0.36 cum per 10 sqm and 11.2 mm graded aggregate size @ 0.18 cum per 10 sqm, preheating aggregates to the required temperature and mixing with 2.336 Kg shredded plastic ( 8% waste processed plastic by weight shall be used for coating aggregate after heating ) and finally mixing with bituminous binder (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 26.864 per 10 sqm (i.e. 92% bitumen) and all as per IRC SP 98 2013, laying to required camber and gradient and rolling and finishing complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Bituminous premixed carpeting material shall be prepared in or sourced from automatic hot mix plant and laying shall be carried out by Mechanical Paver.

M & L for Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cum of sand mixed with 6.8 Kg of bitumen grade VG-30 applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam with binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content @ 4 % by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber of thickness not more than 75mm complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Bituminous premix material shall be prepared in or sourced from automatic hot mix plant and laying shall be carried out by Mechanical Paver.

Material and labour for repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines,dashes,arrows, letters, etc. on roads using thermo plastic road marking paint 2.5mm uniform thickness finished with glass beads (MORTH Grade) white or yellow colour with the help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirt dust complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil for cleaning of road side berms complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fix in repair Glow studs of minimum size 100 x 100 and 20 mm thick made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite) or HIP (High Impact Polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded microprismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 Kg tested in accordance with ASTM D-4280. The slope of retroreflective surface shall be 35 (=/.5) degrees to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM 1:809 as recommended in BS:873 Part 4:1973. The studs shall be fixed to road surface using the adhesive confirming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Supply & Fix in repairs solar stud / cat eye of minimum size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made from aluminium alloy and construction solar powered by nanocrystal solar panel with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery provide with LEDs - 10mm, 3 pieces each side and total of 6 pieces area used for high brightness with backup of 12 hours of continuous light as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.
