Excavation in earth work by mechanical means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soils, including saturated soils comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock and all work of rock cutting blasting work shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side, water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side, the rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) all earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slops, width, camber, super elevation levels as shown on the drawing and directed by the engineer -in-charge in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for rural roads, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of general conditions for contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not 324.00 cum (Three hundred twenty four and point zero cubic meter) shall be made in all cases, otherwise recovery at the rate of Rupees 170/-only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata basis. Any loss to the public and private propriety during the course of execution shall be absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall compensated by him in all cases, including all leads and lifts or as per the direction of Engineer - in Charge.

Excavation in soil in Hilly area by manual means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavated earth as per technical specification clause 1603.1 including all leads and lifts and as per the direction of Engineer – in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for all types of road structures such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etc. In all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rocks, hard rocks, chiseling, wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 305.1,1104 and 1606.1 and as per the direction of the Engineer - in Charge, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal up to all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimeter) compacted thickness including shorting and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) up to all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during de-watering as per the direction of Engineer-in –Charge and including of carriage of material with in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying reinforced pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding for granular material in single row including fixing color with cement mortar 1:2 (1cement: 2 Sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108 900 mm dia including all leads and lifts or as per the direction of Engineer - in Charge

Loosening of the ground up to a level of 300 mm below the Sub-grade level watered, graded and compacted in layers to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 for sub –grade construction as per technical specification clause 303.52 including hauling of material with in all leads and lifts or as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer - in Charge

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads , transporting to site , spreading , grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with all lead as per technical specification clause 303.1 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of the Engineer - in - Charge.

Construction of granular subbase by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401. Granular sub base with well graded material (table 401.1) for grading G-I material with mechanical meansincluding carriage of material with in all leads and lifts and as per the direction of Engineer - in Charge .

WBM Grading - II providing & laying spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness , hand packing . Rolling with three wheel 80-100 Kn static roller in stages to proper grade and camber , applying and booming , crushable stone screening to fill up the interstice of coarse aggregate , watering and compacting to required density Grading -2 as per technical specification clause 405 ( a ) Mechanical means including all leads and lifts or as per the direction of Engineer - in Charge

WBM Grading - III providing & laying spreading and compacting stone aggregate of specific size to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness , hand packing . Rolling with three wheel 80-100 Kn static roller in stages to proper grade and camber , applying and brooming , crushable stone screening to fill up the interstice of coarse aggregate , watering and compacting to required density Grading -3 as per technical specification clause 405 ( a ) Mechanical means including all leads and lifts or as per the direction of Engineer - in Charge.

Priming coat:- low porosity providing & applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.850 kg per sqm. using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502 including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer - in Charge .

Tack coat :- Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical specification clause 503 with in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer - in Charge .

Providing , laying and rolling of open graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using VG-10 grade bitumen to required line , grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing in a suitable plant , laying and rolling with three wheel 80-100 kn static roller capacity , finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A of Type -B or Type - C as per Technical specification clause 508 By mechanical Means VG-10 bitumen or VISCOSITY GRADE-10 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer - in Charge

510. Seal Coat :- Providing & laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surfaces laid to the specified levels , grade and cross fall using Type ' A ' and type C as per as per technical specification clause 510 Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials in all leads and lifts as per directions of the Engineer - in Charge .
