Notes: 1. Before quoting, the bidder shall visit the site and make himself familiar with the site, nature, conditions and quantum / scope of work involved. You may contact Incharge, Engineering Services, AMD ER (Contact No: 06572296276-234) for site visit. 2. The rates quoted shall include cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding/ ladders required to fix GI/Copper tape on wall surfaces at all heights, transportation, hoisting, tools, tackles & installation including all taxes (except EPF &ESI) and other charges if any. No extra payment over and above the rate quoted shall be made to the contractor in this respect. 3. The workers employed for the work shall strictly follow all safety measures as stated in safety code of this tender and also as per DAE safety code. 4.The Contractor shall adhere to the provisions of applicable labour laws such as Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, Employees State Insurance Act, Equal Remuneration Act, 1970 and rules made there under. 5.Contractor has to pay minimum wages, EPF & ESI to the manpower deployed for the work as per state/ central government orders issued from time to time. The actual amount paid towards EPF & ESI shall be reimbursed to him by the Department after satisfying that it has been actually and genuinely paid by the contractor. The bidder should not consider EPF & ESIC in his rates. 6. The contractor shall ensure that all the persons executing the electricalwork have valid electrical license.

Providing and fixing of lightning conductor finial, made of 25 mm dia 300 mm long, G.I. tube, having single prong at top, with 85 mm dia 6 mm thick G.I. base plate including holes etc. complete as required.

Jointing copper / G.I. tape (with another copper/ G I tape, base of the finial or any other metallic object) by riveting / nut bolting/ sweating and soldering etc as required.

Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required. (For horizontal run)

Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required. (For vertical run)

Removal of old saddle and fixing G.I. tape/ copper tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required. (For Horizontal run)

Removal of old saddle and fixing of existing G.I. tape/ copper tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required. (For vertical run)

Providing and fixing testing joint, made of 20mm X 3 mm thick G.I. strip, 125 mm long, with 4 nos. of G.I. bolts, nuts, chuck nuts and spring washers etc. complete as required.

Providing and laying G.I. tape 32 mm X 6 mm from earth electrode directly in ground as required.

Earthing with G.I. earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mm X 600 mm X 3 mm thick including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe of 2.7 metre long etc. with charcoal/ coke and salt as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm copper strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of brass nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)
