Taking out old unsv cable and supply, laying, connecting and testing or passing through pipe, XLPE 1100 volts grade heavy duty underground cable with PVC insulated aluminium stranded conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape armoured with galvanised steel wire 10 sq mm 2 core normal cross sectional area complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note : All minor spares such as cable gland, aluminium lugs etc & minor jobs such as cutting, welding etc is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

Note:Cost of necessary GI items such as reducer, coupler, etc. required to be fitted with GI bracket so as to proper fittment of luminaries with bracket is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fix weather proof aluminum conductor 4 sqmm 2 core, flat cable for connection from looping box to street light fitting. Make :-Grandlay/Havells/Polycab.

S & F in replacenment of old unvs box Street light control junction box 280x170x130mm from cable looping box to the connector of the luminarie made out of FRP sheet and arrangement 3 phase 4 wire system with R.Y.B.& N studs and control for incoming & outgoing cables with MCB SP 10 Amps 230 volts with neutral link including flat iron 25x3 mm “D” clamps (2 Nos) suitable for mounting of box to pole /Angle of required size & shape including bolts nuts & washers complete all as specified.”NOTE: - The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cost of suitable size incoming & outgoing cable glands & lugs.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m depth for laying of CI / GI pipes iiue in trenches and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in trenches including, leveling walring and wall raming in layers not exc 25 cm in soft / loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge .

Dismantling and taking out steel poles/struts/PCC poles of any size incld demolition of PCC foundation complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, erection and commissioning in replacement 6 Meter high Pole (approx. dimensions - lower pipe -1.2 mtr, remaining M.S - 3.8 mtr + 1 mtr having lower section OD 114 mm and top section 76mm diameter) made out of GI pipe as per IS 1239 fitted with square Mild steel plate of dimension not less than 300mm x 300mm X 12 mm thick which should be joined with the pole at the bottom through welded joints with 4 no. circular holes of dia 20mm on 250 mm PCD suitable for M12 bolts. The pole must have a decorative casting at Bottom (approx. dimensions of - (a). Casting - height 183mm/ lower dia 172mm/ upper dia 150mm, (b). middle section casting - height 121mm/ lower dia 138mm/ upper dia 100mm). The pole shall have window cutting of size not less than 300 mm x 70 mm fitted with weather proof flush door & locking arrangement to accommodate electrical accessories (Bakelite plate and connector) for power supply connection. The window cover should be fitted with allen screws to the pole and is to be provided in bottom section of the body of the pole and shall be machined and polished properly to give it a smooth surface as per IS 2629 and IS2633. The pole shall have decorative casting at the top of the shaft. The decorative pole shall be duly pre-treated and painted UV resistant coating in approved color shade. The Pole & the cast iron embellishments should be machined & polished properly to get the smooth finish. The coating should have a DFT of not less than 80-90microns. Entire unit shall be given an extensive three Stage treatment with PU based etch primer, Zinc phosphate primer and Poly Urethane paint of approved color & prescribed for such surfaces to make it absolutely rust and corrosion proof, as well as giving it a pleasing appearance all as per Havells make Model/Cat Ref. No. - EROSPOLET0306M or equivalent in makes Bajaj/Crompton. NOTE - 1. Contractor has to get the design of the decorative pole approved from the GE (P) Dappar prior to procurement of the pole. 2.
