REPAIR MAINT TO ROADS SHOULDERS AND ROAD FURNITURE IN ZONE III IV AND V AT UMROI MIL STN UNDER GE UMROI

M & L for repairs to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat using paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen @ 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings),depth of pothholes exceeding 30mm and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing premix bituminous macadam with binder content @ 4 % by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber of thickness not more than 75mm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with compressed air to remove all loose, dirt, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (Paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for providing bituminous premixed carpet 40mm consolidated thickness with 0.54 cum of stone chippings mixed with 29.20 Kg of binder per 10 Sqm, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying evenly liquid seal coat 9.8 Kg bitumen per 10 sqm blinding with 6.3mm size of stone chipping @ 0.09 Cum per 10 sqm and rolled with using 8 to 12 tonne capacity power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads using thermo plastic road marking paint 2.5mm uniform thickness finished with glass beads (MORTH Grade) white or yellow colour with the help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirt dust complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floor and paving not exc. 15cm thickness (below or above ground level) and removing debries from site of work complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC type D-2 1:4:8 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing machine vibratory pressed precast concrete pre-polished interlocking paver block any shape and size of approved design confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness, M-40 grade including 50 mm thick screened sand filling as in pavings complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in copings, apex stones, bed plates, kerb including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throting with necessary use and waste of formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair road studs/cat eye of minimum size 100mmx108mm x 26mm confirming to ASTM standards made from ABS material, dynamically designed having high impact strength and fitted with 02 Nos highly reflective reflectors fixed with highly adhesive materials on bitumen surface including preparation of new or old surface and taking down damaged cat eye complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repairs solar road stud/cat eye of minimum size 125mm x125mm x 25mm (minimum) made from aluminium alloy and solar powered by mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 Watt with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery(1.2V/1600MA) and provided with superbright LEDs of 10000 to 18000 mcd(Millicandela), 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces for high brightness with charging time of 5-6 hours and backup of 12 hours (minimum) of continuous light all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
