Earth work in excavation in foundations, trenches, etc. in all kinds of soils, not exceeding 2 meters depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil, clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around mansonry, in 15cm layers with compaction, including disposal of all surplus soil, as directed within a lead of 30meters. (HSR 6.6)

Design mix cement concrete of grade M-10 with minimum cement contents 220 Kg/cum in foundation & plinth (HSR 10.63)

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for rainforced cement concrete work using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering shuttering finishing and reinforcement, including admixture in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retarrd setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge in foundation and plinth (Note: Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 kg/cum. Steel reinforcement TMT bars FE-500 EQR/FE-500 D grade or more for RCC work, where no included in the complete rate of RCC including straightening, bending, binding, wastage, overlaps, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire etc. and placing in position complete in all respects for all heights /depths/storeys/basements etc. (HSR 18.22) NOTE:- Reinforcement shall be measured in length including hocks, if any, separately for different diameters as actually used in work, excluding overlaps, Wastage, overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcement.

Conglomerate floor 50mm thick cement concrete topping 1:2:4 (HSR 14.10)

Centering and shuttering for falt surfaces such as suspended floors, roofs, landing, chhajjas, shelves etc. inclination not exceeding 25 degree with horizontal. (HSR 9.1).

Note: In case of any difference in the unit & nomenclature of any of the HSR items depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR, the unit and nomenclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
