The rate shall be inclusive of filter material, if required, to be provided to prevent fine particles in the adjacent ground to be carried away by flowing water and to prevent clogging of the system

Excavation of Soil using Hyraulic Excavator and hydraulic Tractor Trolly I/C cutting and loading in Trolly and transporting to the embankment locations with all lifts and leads. (Silt clearance and debris of channels)

Dismantling of existing coping consisting of cement concrete 1:3:6 including loading & unloading, carriage and disposal of dismantled material with all leads & lifts.

Dismantling existing tile lining on side slopes and bed including loading, unloading, carriage and disposal of dismantled materials with all leads and lifts.

Dressing and preparation of sub grade (in earthwork) for lining complete in all respect, as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge. (i) For Bed

Earth work in excavation in foundations trenches etc. in all kinds of soil where Pick-Jumper work is not involved and not exceeding 2.0 metres depth including dressing of bottom and sides of trenches, stacking the excavated soil clear from the edge of excavation and subsequent filling around masonry in 15 cm, layers with compaction including disposal of all surplus soil as directed within lead of 30 metres.

Making drainage arrangements behind lining by excavating Longitudinal / Transverse drains of trapezoidal section in the bed of channel and disposal of earth with all leads & lifts loading & unloading, dressing the bottom and sides of the drain, and the items given below complete in all respects as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer inchargei) Providing and laying of filter material for drains consisting of 200 gsm. Geo textile and gravels of nominal size 20-40 M.M including placing, anchorage of Geotextile, carriage, loading and unloading, grading and compaction.ii) Providing and laying perforated PVC pipe of nominal outer dia 160 mm (working pressure 0.6 MPa) in drains for all depths with correct alignment, gradient,levels, cutting and jointing etc. including fixing in position PVC tees.cross cap and other required fitting for PVC pipe including all materials, carriage loading , unloading and all lead & lifts.

Supply and fixing in bed PVC Pressure Relief valve in plate & socket type design having zero backwater leakages with housing pipe of nominal outer dia 160 mm (working presure 0.4 MPa), having length of 430 mm and strainer pipe of nomial dia 110mm (working presure 0.6 MPa), with all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per design, drawing & specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge.

Supply and fixing in side slopes PVC Pressure Relief valve in plate & socket type design having zero backwater leakages with housing pipe of nominal outer dia 160 mm (working presure 0.4 MPa), having length of 750 mm and strainer pipe of nominal outer dia 110mm (working presure 0.6 MPa), complete in all respect as per design, drawing & specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge.The rate shall be inclusive of excavation of PRV side pocket and disposal of earth with all leads and lifts, supply, carriage, loading & unloading, laying & compaction etc. of filter material consisting of sand and gravels complete in all respect as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge.

Supply and laying first layer of graded filter with coarse sand, F.M. 1.5 or above against sub grade with all leads and lifts including loading, unloading and carriage of coarse sand from approved quarry, grading of material and compaction in bed, side slopes etc. complete in all respect, as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge. (Bed and Side Slopes)

Supply of 200 GSM geotextile as per specification including carriage to site, laying in position in drains on sub grade, anchorage of geotextile, complete in all respect as per drawing, design, specifications, and the instructions of the Engineer incharge.

Providing and laying in position design mix Porous Cement concrete lining 75mm thick with mechanical Paver or by other means(wherever laying of concrete with paver is not possible) for irrigation channels, using cement concrete M-10 grade usingnminimum cement content as specified in IS 456: 2000, manufactured in fully automatic computerized Batching & Mixing Plant and transported to the site in transit mixers having continuous agitated mixer, manufactured as per mix design of specified grade for porous cement concrete lining 75 mm thick including cost of admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS-9103 to accelerate/ retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability including cost of cutting grooves and inserting PVC water stop seals ( excluding cost of PVC seals) supply and application of primer for joints, supply, carriage, all leads and lifts, loading and unloading of all materials, curing, complete in all respect, as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge.(i) Computerized Batching & Mixing plant mixed concrete lining on bed and on slide slopes upto vertical height 2.0 mtr.

Weaving wire netting for wire crates including binding sides and partitions to make crate of 15 cm x 15 cm or 25 cm x 7.5 cm mesh i/c supply and carriage of MS Annealed wire with all leads and lifts including loading, unloading etc. complete in all respect, as per drawings, design, specifications & the instructions of the Engineer incharge.

Providing safety ladders on side slopes of lining in cement concrete M-15 including fixing iron rungs 25 mm diameter of steel having anti-corrosive properties supported with 10 mm dia longitudinal bars, dismantling of existing lining, excavation of earth and disposal of earth and dismantled material with all leads & lifts at disposal site to be arranged by agency himself, including supply and carriage of cement at site of work, supply & carriage of steel, bending, binding and placing in position.
