Part I : CIVIL WORKS
Part I -A : SUB STRUCTURE
Earth work in surface excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means to required profile, level, grade, camber, etc. in all soils as mentioned below, not exceeding 30 cm in depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm in plan area including dressing, ramming and preparing the bed for foundation, watering, consolidation, rolling top most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes to obtain 90% proctor density for Car Parking area etc. and disposing of the surplus earth within a distance of 300m etc. complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by the Engineer -In-Charge.
All kinds of soils.
Depth not exceeding 1.5m from ground level.
Depth exceeding 1.5m & up to 3m from ground level.
Depth exceeding 3m & up to 4.5m from ground level.

Cement concrete of specified grades at all locations & depths for the following works using graded stone aggregate of 20mm maximum size including necessary form work, machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Nominal Reinforcement if provided shall be measured & paid under relevent item.
PCC of grade M10 in foundation, mudmat course etc.
PCC of grade M15 in sub base flooring, ramps, foundation in pedestals, cable pits, cable trenches, plinth protection, haunching of drain, embedding pipes etc.
Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade M-30 in foundation and plinth at all levels and locations conforming to I.S.456-2000 and 13920 latest edition, using 20mm maximum size down graded stone aggregate including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Notes for Reinforced Cement Concrete works: i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/PPC ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge. ii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications.. iii) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. iv)All coarse aggregate is to be of 20mm maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. v) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a)Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by / through the department. c) Making cutout wherever required including cutting the formworks etc.. d) During construction of raft slab of underground tank, lift pit dewatering shall be continuously carried out to avoid developent of water pressure. e) Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
For all type of Structural / RCC elements with all geometrical shape and sizes.
Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS : 4926(latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items supplied by approved RMC manufacturers for all type of structural elements/ RCC / PCC elements including transporting, pumping etc. complete as per instruction of the Engineer in charge. Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structures etc. iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere shall be measured and paid under this item for substructure works.
Providing, erecting, fixing in position striking / removing and cleaning steel / timber shuttering & centering for formwork in foundation plinth at all locations for all geometrical shapes in plain, curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting holes for pipes etc., providing & applying approved form oil on all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete including close hacking of all exposed concrete work after removal of form work, all materials, labour etc. all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: i) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. ii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural / RCC elements and geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces.
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: The cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor and binding wire shall not be measured for payment.
Thermo Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500 D manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL, JSW, JSPL and RINL only.
Brick masonry work in foundation and plinth, cable pits, trench, steps, toe wall, etc. using well burnt bricks from approved lot, of class designation 3.5 (classification as per IS 1077-1992 and minimum average compressive strength not less than 3.50 N/mm2) in ready mix C.M 1: 6 to correct line, level and plumb including raking out joints/simultaneous flush pointing with ready mix cement mortar 1:4, curing etc. complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes: i) One brick wall thickness shall be considered as 230 mm & lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up accordingly by the contractor by applying ready mix cement mortar of mix 1:4 in proper line, level & plumb without any extra cost to the department. ii) The rate shall include cost of making the brick masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. iii) The contractor shall get approved the samples of bricks from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. iv) Necessary Openings/nitches/cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost.
Cement plaster using READY MIX Plaster (RMP) of approved manufacturer in single/ double coat over concrete/ masonry surfaces in CM 1:4 of thickness mentioned below at lift pit/ trenches and all locations to correct line, level, plane, plumb etc., finished smooth with neat cement finish, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
20 mm thick smooth finish in two coats on concrete surfaces inside lift pit/trenches, with water proofing agent @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications.
Providing and laying patent box type cement based water proofing treatment of approved agency for basement raft and vertical wall of lift well, trenches, etc. at all levels & locations as per specification of the water proofing agency including cleaning of surfaces, curing and testing the basement raft for water tightness, rectification of defects if any, etc. complete as per specification and drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge as per the following. Notes: a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer-in-Charge, for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment is provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or underside of the slab or junction etc. c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section 10(iii) of Conditions and Clauses of Contract 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treatment in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification within a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the lift pit filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the lift pit be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over, if found necessary by the Engineer- in-Charge.
Providing 50 mm to 70mm thick water proofing treatment for base / floor consisting of :- i) 1st layer rough shahabad stone of approximate size 600x600x20mm minimum thick of approved quality, (rough stone slab) over a 25mm thick base of rea dy mix cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement:3 course sand) mixed with waterproofing compound conforming to IS:2645 in the recommended proportion. Joints sealed and grouted with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in proportions recommended by the manufacturer. ii) 2nd layer of 25mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 (1cement : 3 coarse sand ) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions. iii) Finishing top with stone aggregate of 10mm to 12mm nominal size spreading @ 8cudm/sqm thoroughly embedded in the 2nd layer.
Providing and laying integral cement based treatment for water proofing on the vertical surface by fixing rough shahabad stone of approximate size 600x600x20mm minimum thick of approved quality, (rough stone slab) with cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in recommended proportion with a gap of 20mm (minimum) between stone slabs and the receiving surfaces and filling the gaps with neat cement slurry mixed with water proofing compound and finishing the exterior stone slab with ready mix cement mortar 1:3(1 cement : 3 coarse sand) 20mm thick with neat cement punning mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion complete at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Disposing off the surplus excavated materials by mechanical transport to the near by dumping pits/ dumping areas at a designated location inside Anushaktinagar including all leads, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, spreading, levelling etc. complete as per drawings, specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge. Notes: Voids @ 20% for soils and 50% for soft rock/ hard rock shall be deducted from fully loaded truck measurements to arrive at the net quantity for payment in case direct measurement is not possible.
i) 230mm consolidated thickness.
ii) 150mm consolidated thickness.
Supplying and spreading pesticides chlorpyriphos or other chemical approved by central insecticides board and spraying the mixture uniformly by sprayer as pre-construction anti-termite treatment at the rate of 7.5 litres per sq.m. on vertical and 5 ltrs. per sq.m. on horizontal surfaces (or as directed by the manufacturer ) within the trenches, 50% of the emulsion to be filled in the holes made in trenches at 150mm centre to centre etc. complete as per IS 6313 Part-II. (The payment will be made on the basis of plinth area measurement only at ground floor/stilt area for all stages of operation and vertical face will not be measured for payment) all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: a) This item will be executed through approved agency who is a member of Indian Pest Control Association, approved by Central Insecticides Board. b) The contractor shall have to furnish ten years guarantee in the prescribed proforma as per Section-10 (iv) Conditions and clauses of contract-2008, to maintain the anti-termite treated area/structure free from termite. c) Prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge shall be obtained after testing the chemical for antitermite to be used and shall be tested in approved laboratory and to be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Cost of testing shall be included in the rates quoted.
Providing and laying damp proof course 38mm thick at plinth level in cement concrete 1:2:4 using 10mm maximum size and down graded stone aggregate, mixed with approved water proofing compound at 2% by weight of cement laid to levels, slopes etc. including applying a coat of hot bitumen of grade 80/100 at 17 kg./10 sq.m. including cost of formwork, curing all complete as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
TOTAL OF PART I - A : (Sub Structure)
PART I-B : SUPER-STRUCTURE (STRUCTURAL) i) Super structure items included in this schedule pertains to all the works above plinth level upto roof including parapets, water tanks, machine room, terrace level works etc. unless specified otherwise.
Reinforced cement concrete of grade M-30 in super structure conforming to IS 456-2000 , at all floors and levels for all structural members in all geometrical shapes/ design as per drawings using graded stone aggregate of 20mm and down graded including machine mixing, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in Charge. Notes for RCC Works: a) All RCC works shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer in Charge. b) The water tank work shall be as per IS 3370-2009 latest edition c) The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned. d) All coarse aggregate to be 20mm maximum size and uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. e) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Dept. i) Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. ii) Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, fan hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by/ through the Department. iii) Cut out in slabs, construction joints etc. f) Test for concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000 and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.
For all type of Structural/ RCC Elements with all geometrical shape
Extra for providing RMC (Ready Mixed Concrete) conforming to IS 4926 (Latest) in lieu of conventional RCC and PCC items, supplied by approved RMC manufacturers including transportation, pumping etc, complete as per instruction of Engineer in Charge. Notes: i) The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing. ii) The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc. iii) Extra for RMC in lieu of conventional RCC of any grade mentioned elsewhere in the schedule shall be measured and paid under this item for superstructure works.

Part- I - C - Form Work Notes for form work i) For double/ multi stage shuttering design calculations and details /drawings for scaffolding shall be submitted by the contractor well in advance. Prior written approval of form work shall be obtained from Engineer in Charge, before commencement of work. ii) Area of form work in contact with concrete shall only be measured for payment and stop boards for construction joints will not be measured for payment. iii) The rate of formwork shall include all type of structural/ RCC elements and all geometric shapes including circular and any other curved surfaces at all level and floors including single/ multiple staging etc., complete.

Providing, erecting, fixing, centering and shuttering work using ply board to obtain form finished concrete surfaces of F3 finish to ceilings at all heights & locations including single / multiple staging for all geometrical shapes in plane, curved surfaces of structural / RCC elements including chamfers, splays, keys, wedges, props, rails, bracings, brackets, cutting hole for pipes etc. providing and applying approved form oil to all surfaces of form work coming in contact with concrete and striking / removal of the same including finishing by filling form tie-hole, removal of fins, ridges, and irregularities by grinding filling air holes, with sack rubbed finish, cleaning up loose and adhering debris including all materials, labour etc. complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge.

PART - I-D : STEEL REINFORCEMENT WORK
Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying steel bars of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending placing in position and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge. (Cost of binding wire shall be borne by the contractor & shall not be measured for payment).

PART - I-E : MASONRY WORK Notes: a) The contractor shall get approved the samples of autoclave aerated cement blocks from the Engineer-In-Charge before procurement on large scale and shall maintain the same for the entire work. b) Necessary Openings/ nitches/ pipe sleeves/ cut-outs, wherever required as per drawings and asked for by the Engineer-In-Charge, shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost. c) One AAC Block masonry wall thickness shall be considered as 230mm and half wall as 115 mm and lesser wall thickness if any shall be made up to the required dimensions by the contractor in CM 1:4 to proper line, level and plumb without any extra cost to the Department. d)The rate shall include cost of making the AAC block masonry to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.
Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 115mm/ 150mm/ 230mm thick AAC blocks as per approved manufacturers, using approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar in super structure above plinth level at all locations, levels & lead with RCC band at sill level and lintel level all complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for separately).
Total of Part- I - E - MASONRY WORK
PART -I-F : FLOORING WORK Notes: a) The floor finish level shall be generally in level matching with the surrounding floor finish level & as per drawing. No extra payment shall be entertained for matching the floor differences. b) Adjustment of levels in thickness of mortar bedding due to different types of flooring, if any, shall be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the Department. c) The contractor shall submit and get approved the sample for flooring, skirting, dado tiles from Engineer-in-charge before bulk procurement. d) Pattern & design of flooring/ skirting/ dado shall be approved by the Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work. e) Exposed edges of all natural stones used for the works like Kotah, green Marble, Granite etc. shall be machine cut and shall have uniform thickness and mirror polished unless otherwise mentioned. f) The rate shall include cost of making the flooring to all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department. g) All Kota, granite stone work shall be mirror polished to get high gloss finish and the rate shall be inclusive of the same in the respective item. h) Wherever dissimilar floor finishes are placed adjacent, 3mm thick x 25mm wide aluminium flat dividing strips shall be provided by the contractor without any additional cost to the Department. i) The sizes of tiles mentioned are approximate and subject to the availability in market during execution. If the required size is not available the next higher size of tiles shall be used without any extra cost to the Department. The tenderer may note the same and quote accordingly.
Providing and laying at all floors and levels 6mm (min) thick or as per specifications of approved manufacturer, first quality glazed / matt / antiskid etc. ceramic tile flooring /dado/ cladding as per the approved pattern and colour as mentioned below conforming to IS 13755 latest edition laid in ready mix cement mortar bedding / backing, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry to match the colour of the tiles, finished to level, line, slope and plumb including cutting of tiles, making openings /cutout if necessary, wastage and final cleaning of surfaces as required, curing etc. complete all as per drawings, specifications & as directed by Engineer in charge.
In flooring with satin/antiskid finish 300mmx300mm, or equivalent approved sizes of ceramic tile laid over 20mm thick ready mix cement mortar bedding 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 sand).
Providing & laying machine cut & machine polished kotah stone flooring and skirting at all floor & location including stair case landing, connecting corridor etc. with necessary ready mix cement mortar bedding / backing, close jointed & grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level, curing etc. as required, including cutting of stone slab, wastage, making cut outs, wherever required, machine polishing /hand polishing (where machine cannot have access) etc. complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
In flooring with machine polished kotah stone slab of size 585mmx585mmx25mm laid over & including 20mm. thick ready mix cement mortar 1:4 ( 1 cement : 4 coarse sand) bedding.
In skirting with kotah stone slab of size 585mmx100mmx25mm thick or sizes as per working drawing laid over and including 12mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 ( I cement : 3 coarse sand) backing including providing grooves on top of skirting, and chasing the brick/block masonry etc. complete.
In Ramps 25mm uniform thick, length up to 1250mm/1500mmx100mm in single piece (approx.) laid over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:3(1cement :3 sand)
Providing and fixing gang saw cut, mirror polished, premoulded and prepolished, machine cut lavender blue, steel gray or any other approved granite stone piece of 18mm thick for treads/ risers/ steps/ ramps of approved shade, colour, texture in required size of single length wherever mensioned in drawings and specifications, laid at all floors and locations, laid over 20 mm thick base using ready mix cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels as per instrutions of EIC.
In flooring with mirror polished 18mm thick approved quality lavender blue granite stone slab in required sizes, shade, shape and pattern in plain/curved or any geometric shape and including 20mm thick ready mix cement mortar bedding of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand) including grey cement slurry at 4.4kg / Sqm over bedding and matching slurry with cement at 2.2kg/sqm for grounting the joints.
In skirting with 18mm thick mirror polished approved quality lavender blue granite stone over and including 12mm thick ready mix cement mortar ( I cement : 3 coarse sand) backing.

Providing & laying machine cut machine polished natural stone for wash basin counter / kitchen platform comprising of verticals / topping / facia as specified below, over and including necessary mortar bedding /backing, close jointed and grouted with matching cement slurry and finished to line, level, plumb, curing etc. as required including cutting of stone slabs, wastage, making cut-outs for wash basin/sink wherever required etc. all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by Engineer in charge. i) Sandwitch type topping of kitchen/ wash basin platform with combination of jet black granite (18mm thick) (in one piece) at top & cuddapa stone (35mm thick) at bottom total thickness with mortar of about 100mm and width of about 600mm, machine polished on one side, set in ready mix cement mortar 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 sand), between the two slabs with maximum length upto 3.00 Meters(approx.) in single piece with a separate piece for sink area/wash basin required if any including cutting of slab to fix S.S sink / wash basin and making recess in brick/block wall etc. including necessary cement paste, making good the surfaces and fixing to level, line, plumb etc. all as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer in charge. ii) For support walls and kitchen/ wash basin fins, facia with jet black granite minimum 18mm thick & about 100mm wide, machine cut machine polished (on exposed surface) stone fixed with approved adhesive, clips, stone chips to create rough surface, necessary cement paste, etc. all as per drawing & specification and as directed by Engineer in charge. iii) Providing machine cut/machine polished 35mm thick both cuddapah stone back to back for vertical support, for wash basin counter/kitchen platform in two pieces (sandwich type) of each 35mm uniform thick cuddapa stone slab placed back to back with 20mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 of appx. size 675mm x 750mm & 100mm total thickness, making recess in brick/block wall, fixing in line, level, plumb with a minimum bearing of 25mm in brick/block wall and floor, making good the surfaces etc. including necessary cement paste / slurry all as per drawing & as directed by Engineer in charge. Notes for Wash basin Counter :- i)Only top clear exposed plan area of the combined slab system shall be measured for payment and area of bottom slab, cuddappah sandwitch vertical support, facia etc. shall not be measured. ii) The rate shall be inclusive of making necessary recess in brick/block wall to provide minimum bearing of 25mm for the sandwich slab system. iii) The thickness of cuddapah stone shall be 35mm (+) or (-) acceptable tolerence. PART I-G : DOORS AND WINDOWS Note: a) The items of door frames, window frames shall include sealing the joints all round with the brick/block work /concrete and doors or windows with approved mastic filler cement grout/ epoxy compound /polysulphide compound by the contractor at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge to make the joints watertight. b) The work contemplated under the item for supplying and fixing the window/door frames shall be got done by the contractor through specialised agencies in the field, approved by the Department. c) One sample each of the door frame, shutter and window with all fittings and fixtures along with locking arrangement including glass panes etc. complete as per schedule of quantities drawing and specifications should be submitted for preliminary inspection before procurement on large scale. The contractor shall submit six copies of shop drawings for windows, ventilators and steel door with frames showing dimensional details of construction etc. for approval of the Engineer-in-charge. After preliminary inspection, the sample should be fixed. Defects etc. if any shall be rectified to the full satisfaction of the Department and after obtaining formal approval in writing of Engineer in charge. d) Door frames, shutters and the windows to be supplied and fixed in position should cater the dimensional tolerance of the openings to an extent of (+/-) 2%. The rates quoted by the tenderers should hold good for such variation. Test shall be conducted by the Department for the flush doors as per IS-2202-1983 Part-I from each consignment and the cost incurred on this account shall be borne by the contractor. e) For bonding the flush doors, block boards, ply wood and all types of wood works, phenol- formaldehyde synthetic resin type adhesives conforming to IS-848-1957 shall be used. f) The rate shall include cost of making the doors & windows including glass etc. in all geometrical shapes and sizes without any extra cost to the Department.

PART : I-H : FITTING & FIXTURES: Notes: a) One sample board consisting of each item of schedule of quantities with approved quality fittings & fixtures & necessary accessories including chromium plated brass screws, bolts, nuts, washers should be submitted for approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. Large scale procurement shall be taken up only after approval of the Engineer-in-Charge. After approval, the samples shall be kept in the office of the Engineer-in-Charge to ascertain the approved quality for the entire work. b) All fittings & fixtures shall conform to relevant IS code.

TOTAL OF PART : I-H : FITTING & FIXTURES:
PART - I-I : WATERPROOFING TREATMENT: a) The contractor shall get written approval from the Engineer in Charge for the water proofing agency engaged and shall submit the specification of the waterproofing before commencement of work. b) The contractor shall test the surface where water proofing treatment is provided for bone dry condition by filling up with water. No wet patches or leaks shall appear on the surrounding wall or under side of the slab c) The contractor shall furnish guarantee bond on appropriate stamp paper in the proforma as per Section10 (iii) of Conditions and Clauses of Contract - 2008 for the entire waterproofing treatment for maintaining the surroundings and under side surfaces of the waterproofing treated area in bone dry condition for 10 years. During the guarantee period the contractor shall attend all leakages, defects etc. if noticed, free of cost, starting the work of checking up and rectification with in a week's time from the date of intimation about such leakages/ defects. d) The Contractor shall keep the water tank filled with water after the water proofing work has been completed and shall clean it before handing over. At no time shall the water tank be kept empty. Testing for the bone dry condition for the water proofing work carried out shall again be done, before handing over the Building/ flats, if found necessary by the Engineer in Charge. e) Wherever Cement motar is to be used it shall be with Ready mix mortar for all waterproofing work with suitable proportioning for richer mix.
Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment of the agency approved by department, including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, terraces etc. mixing with waterproofing compound as per IS : 2645 :2003, with average thickness of 115mm and minimum thickness at drain point as 65 mm. Following works are included in above item. a) Applying and grouting a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm. of cement admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over the RCC slab including cleaning the surface before treatment. b) Laying cement concrete using broken bricks/brick bats 25mm to 100mm size with 50% of ready mix cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls up to 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry admixed with proprietary waterproofing compound. d) Finishing the surfaces with 20mm thick joint less ready mix cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) admixed with proprietary water proofing compound and finally finishing the surface to receive the China Mosaic waterproofing treatment. e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test. All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer in Charge.
Extra for additional thickness of brick bat coba over and above standard average thickness of 115 m for effective slope wherever required.
Filling in bath, WC, toilet, depressed areas with water proofing brick bat coba of the agency approved by the Department, at all floors and locations upto the required level and making the surface finished suitable to receive floor finish etc. all complete as per drawings, water proofing agency's specifications & as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of WC, Kitchen and the like consisting of : i) 1st course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4. Kg/sqm mixed with water proofing compound `Impermo' of Snowcem or equivalent conforming to IS 2645 in recommended proportions. ii) IInd course of cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportions, 20mm thick up to finished floor level and 15mm thick above finished floor level up to 600mm. iii) IIIrd course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 Kg per sqm of area. iv) IV th course of 400 micron thick PVC sheet (Overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100 mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @ 1.7 Kg/sqm.)
Providing cement based water proofing treatment by 'Injection & Surface' method of the agency approved by the dept. cement based water proofing treatment of 50 mm. and 20mm. thick for the floor and walls respectively at terrace water tanks, finished perfectly smooth to correct line, level and plumb including preparing the existing surfaces, necessary scaffolding, curing etc. complete as per waterproofing agency's specifications and testing water tank for the water tightness and rectification of defects, if any, to render the outer surface bone dry etc. complete as per specifications, drawing and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Providing China Mosaic water proofing over concrete/plastered surface of horizontal, vertical, sloped/curved surfaces, rounded vatas, sharp corners, junctions etc., using broken pieces of approved single colour, high solar reflective index, ceramic tile laid over and including 20mm thick ready mix cement mortar 1:3 screed mixed with approved waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement, cost of all materials, labour, curing, breaking the tiles to the pieces of required size and shape, laying / fixing the tile pieces to the required line, slope, levels etc., providing extra screed as required to provide slope for quick & easy flow of water, curing etc., at all heights including necessary scaffolding, cleaning the surface initially with saw dust and finally with acid all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
TOTAL OF PART - I-I : WATERPROOFING TREATMENT:
PART I - J : PLASTERING WORK : Note: a) Before commencement of plastering, the area shall be cleaned, wetted and shall be marked with 'Thiyyas' or 'Tapanis' and shall be got approved by the Engineer-in-charge. b) Whenever the electrical contractor/ agency has to fix up switch boxes in walls, necessary Thiyyas or 'Dhadas' shall be arranged prior to plastering so that the electrical boxes are fixed properly in line with the finished plastered surfaces. c) Finishing around the junction boxes shall be done at all floor, level and position to the line, level and right angles as required while carrying out plastering work. d) No extra claim/cement consumption shall be entertained by the department for the plastering done more than the specified thickness shown in the schedule of quantities, to bring the plastered surface to perfect line, level and plumb with adjoining columns and beams.
Cement plaster using readymix mortar in single coat at all floors and locations to correct line, level, plane and plumb for following, including preparing the surface, scaffolding, curing etc. all complete as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
15 mm. thick plaster in CM 1:4 mix for internal brick/block/ concrete surfaces for all walls, beams flush with walls, mullions etc.
Sand faced external / internal cement plaster as specified below in ready mix cement mortar 1:4 at all heights and locations including scaffolding, preparing the surfaces, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level and plumb, curing including making plaster fluting (plaster in steps) etc. where ever required complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Birla White at all floors and locations, over plastered surfaces finished smooth to correct line level, plain, plumb etc., including preparing the surfaces, scaffolding, smoothening the putty surfaces with very fine water proof emery paper to get a glossy finish etc. complete as per specifications, as per manufacturer's specifications, drawing & as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
Painting plastered/ concrete surfaces with two coats of acrylic premium (plastic) emulsion paint of approved colour and make over a coat of approved cement/ Acrylic primer including preparing the surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding and cleaning etc, complete as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Painting plastered/ concrete surfaces with two coats of exterior grade Acrylic emulsion paint of approved manufacturer and of approved colour and shade over a coat of acrylic/cement based water repellent primer of approved make and shade as mentioned below all as per manufacturer's recommendations and as per the approved sample and pattern including providing necessary scaffolding, covering the furniture etc. with tarpaulins or similar covering materials, before applying, cleaning the surface with water to remove all coating, dust, filling up cracks & crevices with approved putty, curing the surface, removal of splashing & droppings from floors, doors & windows, cleaning the surfaces etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge. a) Over sand faced plaster and jalli Notes:Both sides of the jalli shall be measured for payment.
Repainting of old painted surfaces with two coats of external grade acrylic emulsion paint of approved make and shade over one coat of approved acrylic/cement primer, including cleaning, repairing the surface with cement mortar, cleaning, scaffolding, covering the furniture etc. with tarpaulins or similar covering materials, before applying, removal of splashing & droppings from floors, doors & windows, cleaning the surfaces etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling and reassembling existing CPVC water supply network at terrace and shaft for extension of building. Balance material shall be deposited at departmental store. Reassembly shall be done as per the pipe laying specifications including jointing material and labour etc. complete as directed by EIC. Note:Additional pipe material required will be measured in relevant item.
Supplying & fixing on Exposed surfaces the following sizes uv-stabilized Chlorinated Poly Vinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes & Fittings of specified class having thermal stability for both hot & cold water supply consisting following items of work:- i) Supplying CPVC pipes and all required CPVC plain and brass threaded fittings, SDR - 11 having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply of approved make conforming to IS:15778 with ISI mark for CPVC pipe having nominal size up to 50 mm and conforming to ASTM F 441 (IPS SERIES) Schedule 40 for CPVC pipe having nominal size 65 mm (2 ½”) and above. ii) Supplying & providing providing CPVC/GI flanges, any other required specials and other jointing materials for connecting the CPVC pipe lines with spool pieces of water tank and for connecting the CPVC pipe lines with any fittings & fixtures etc., of the water supply line iii) Laying and fixing the pipe and specials on exposed surfaces/ underground, to correct line, level and plumb for water supply line, using metal straps ( On wall surfaces ) at 1.00 mtr. interval or as directed by the EIC. iv) Jointing the pipes and Specials using Solvent cement conforming to IS:15225 & Teflon tape ( For threaded joins ) of approved makes including cutting the pipe to required size, preparation of surfaces, necessary tools etc. all complete. v) Cutting or making hole or chases in RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja, dado etc. for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition. vi) Testing the pipe line as per relevant code to a hydraulic pressure of 10 Kg / Sq.cm to assess leakages if any, rectifying the defect, retesting etc till water tightness of pipe line is ensured. vii) CPVC pipes and fittings/ specials shall be of same brand. NOTE: 1) The rate shall also include for cPVC pipe & specials required for making connections with the existing GI/ CPVC/ PP-R pipe line laid by other agency. 2) All threaded joints shall be made with brass threaded fittings only. Providing uPVC Floor Trap / Nahani Trap of following size having not less than 40 mm effective water seal, fixing the trap in position and connecting with waste water pipe by cement solvent / as per manufacturer's recommendation, embedding the trap in cement concrete 1:2:4 to correct level and gradient, providing and fixing 200 x 200 mm size top tile with central strainer & flat cover / flush strainer, closing the side inlets with plugs if required etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing HDPE sheet flashing fabricated by welding HDPE flexible sheet with 160 / 110 mm diameter HDPE pipe about 400mm long for PVC rain water pipes, fixing the same on RCC/cement concrete surface using approved synthetic glue, covering the HDPE sheet wateright with cement mortar 1:2 mixed with water proofing compound and forming the proper shape and grade and finishing with inlet mouth of rain water pipe, cutting RCC slab or wall if required, including the cost of bitumen, cement mortar etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes: HDPE sheet flashing shall be stuck watertight over RCC / Cement Concrete surface by using approved synthetic glue as per manufacturer's recommendation and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. After fixing HDPE sheet flashing over RCC/ Cement concrete surface, the top potion of HDPE sheet flashing shall be spread with approved synthetic glue, fine (0.5 mm size) sand shall be sprinkled over it immediately, allowed to be dried and after drying it is to be covered watertight with cement mortar 1:2 mixed with waterproofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement as per required shape and form.

SECTION-A : LT PANELS LT PANEL: Design, manufacture,supply, installation,testing & commissioning of floor mounting front operated front access extensible type cubicle panel totally enclosed with IP-42 protection with hinged and lockabale doors. Switchboards fabricated from 2 mm thick CRCA sheets including interconnections, tinned copper strip/Wire crimping lugs, bonding to earth suitable for use at 415 V, 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz system, and to withstand a fault level of 25kA for 1 sec or as specified, symmetrical at 415 V complete as per specifications, as required & as below. All switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top/bottom as required. All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. Part IV : Part-A : FIRE FIGHTING WORKS
Dismantling, Modification, and Installtion of Terrace Pumping System Modification, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal Horizontal Pump Set for fire fighting system from 1st floor terrace to 2nd Floor Terrace including the following accessories as per instructions of EIC: 1. Pump Set of capacity 450 LPM and 35 M Head - 1 No. 2. Gate Valves of 100 mm dia- 2 Nos. 3. NRV of 100 mm dia. - 1 No. 4. Pressure Guage: - 1 No. 5. Cables, Starter Panel, weather proof cover, other accessories etc. 6. Breaking of Existing pump foundation and clearing the resulting debris. NB: 1) The cost of Dismantling, modification and Installing back of all the items mentioned above are to be included under this item and no extra payment shall be made.
G.I. Pipes: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Heavy Duty, "C" Class GI pipes of following sizes conforming to IS-1239 along with all necessary fittings, flanges, jointing (screwed / welded / flanged etc.) and required supports with two coats of paint as per color code of the piping systems over two coats of red oxide primer, including all hardware, complete in all respects as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. NB : 1) The pipe line shall be measured along the centre line.

CI Gate Valves: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double flanged CI/Cast Steel Gate Valve of required sizes of ratings PN 1.6 with rising stem conforming to IS-14846 with all necessary fittings like flanges, neoprene neoprene gaskets, nut bolts, hardware, flange joint etc. as shown in the drawings, as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.

HYDRANT LANDING VALVE Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Single / Double outlet SS hydrant landing valve conforming to IS 5290 having 80 mm diameter flanged inlet 63 mm diameter instantaneous type female outlet with SS hand wheel, SS blank cap & GI chain conforming to IS 901, twist release type plug including nuts, bolts, washers, gaskets with necessary fittings like Tees, elbows etc. including providing 80 mm diameter GI pipe heavy class conforming to IS 1239 of suitable length to extend the hydrant from downcomer, making flanged/welded joints, testing the unit, painting the hydrant valve and the exposed portion of GI pipe with 2 coats of signal red paint of approved make over a coat of approved make primer, all as per specification and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hose Reel With Drum: Providing & fixing rubber hose reel of 20 mm diameter x 37 m along with swinging drum along with high pressure braided rubber hose conforming to IS 884 including 8 mm diameter SS cut off nozzle on one end, wall mounting type, necessary brackets suitable for wall mounting, fixing on downcomer including connecting the other end to the downcomer by providing necessary connecting nipple/coupling, nuts, bolts etc. and providing & fixing 20 mm dia G.M. peet valve of approved make all complete including painting (the drum and brackets shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside) & as shown and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hose Cabinet: Supply, installation & commissioning of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet metal hose cabinet of size 750x650x250 mm or as appropriate for accomodating 2 nos. of hose pipes (measured & paid separately under relevent SOQ item) and SS-304 branch pipe with nozzle. The box shall have front glass door lock with angle iron frame. The hose pipe box shall be fixed with Hilti make Anchor Fastner on the wall or nuts, bolts (in case of stand in open space) as shown in the drawing and as directed by EIC. The MS box shall be painted with two coats of signal red enamel paint from outside and white enamel paint from inside. The scope also includes supplying of gun metal / stainless steel branch pipe of 63 mm dia. fitted with detachable hexagonal nozzle of 19 mm dia. conforming to IS : 903 or universal pattern as per IS : 2871. The branch pipe with detachable nozzle shall be placed in the hose cabinet complete in all respect as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Hose Pipe(For Hydrants, Landing Valve): Supply and installation of Unlined Flax Canvas (hose pipe) for fire fighting conforming to RRL fire hose type A or Synthetic Fibre Woven-Jacket (SFWJ) Elastomeric fire hose type B conforming to IS:636 all with ISI marks as required and of approved make and of 63 mm dia & 15 mtrs length, fitted with male and female SS coupling conforming to IS:903, ISI marks with guaranteed bursting pressure of 35.7 kg/sq.cm and complete as per the technical specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Each set shall comprise of 2 hose pipes.
Pressure Guages: Supply, installation testing and commisioning of pressure gauges of SS material with dial not less than 150 mm dia of appropriate range and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and duly tested after installation as per drawing and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Air Release Valve: Providing and fixing 20/25/40/50 mm dia (dia shall be as applicable as per relevant IS code) (PN - 1.6, Type-S1, Flanged, ISI marked) air release valve conforming to IS - 14845 : 2000 with Double Flange isolating valve (pressure rating PN 1.6) including making necessary flanged joints and providing all fitting materials nuts, bolts etc. and providing T on the pipeline for its installation at site all as per technical specification, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Orifice Plate: Design, supply and fixing stainless steel orifice plate of not less than 6 mm thick having suitable bore for reducing the pressure at the fire hydrant outlet as per fire brigade requirement and to restrict the operating pressure within 3.5 kg/sq.cm. at the fire hydrant outlet. The orifice plate shall be fixed in position & it shall be fitted between the flanges. The orifice plates shall have test certificate and calibrated to give the required pressure, complete all as per specification, drawings & as directed by E.I.C.
M.S. Supports / Structure: Supply, cutting, fabrication, welding, erecting & fixing in position of M.S. support/structure (angle, channel, beam, plate, chequered plate etc.) for steps and other purpose (not applicable for items for which supports are already included in the item) including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved make & shade over a coat of approved steel primer all as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. Material shall conform to IS-2062.
PCC Pedestals: Providing PCC pedestals /thrust /anchor block of required sizes for underground pipes, fire hose box etc. and specials with cement concrete 1:2:4 at required intervals including form work, curing, finishing etc. complete in all respect as per standard specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Fire Extinguisher:
Proividing & fixing of Dry Chemical Powder (ABC) type fire extinguisher of 04 Kg capacity either portable or trolley mounted as per approved make fitted with pressure indicating gauge, internal tube, squeeze lever type valve fully charged with ABC powder (Mono Ammonium Phosphate) pressured by Nitrogen complete in all respects including wall suspension bracket and conforming to IS 15683-2006. The Fire extinguisher shall be supplied and placed without any damage, scratches and loss of accessories as per specifications and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Foundation For Pump: Providing and laying Design-Mix Reinforced Cement Concrete foundation (design and drawing to be provided by contractor) for fire fighting pump of M-20 by weight batching using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm maximum size including mechanical mixing and vibration, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. as specified and also including dewatering, if any, cost of form work, shuttering & steel reinforcement, including nozing all around by 50 x 50 x 5 mm angle, all complete as per specifications, drawings and as directd by EIC.

M.V.Cables: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade XLPE insulated, inner sheath PVC tapped, extruded FRLS PVC outer sheath, GI strip / wire armoured, multistranded Aluminium / copper conductor power cable conforming to IS : 1554 part I/IS 7098 part-1 with upto date amendments, fixed on wall/column/slab/false ceiling or in existing hume pipe/trench/ shaft/pit/ on 5mm thick M.S. flat /GI spacer/angle/ support fixed with coach screws/grouted in wall/anchor fasteners 2mm. thick G.I. Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles all complete as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C & of the following sizes. The space between the two support shall be 600mm. approx.

Fabricated saddle, all fixing accessories, etc complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles etc. providing brass cable number tag as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C. The scope also includes end connections at both ends with glands etc. as required. 3 C x 2.5 sq.mm
Earthing System: 4 SWG GI strip/wire fixed to wall/side of trench/ slab/column/beam/shaft with 5mm thick G.I spacers & GI saddles or on existing cable tray etc.
