CA NO GE(U)/CHM-75/2025-26 REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF POLES, CABLES AND STREET LIGHTS FOR OTM ACCN INCLUDING THEIR OTHER ALLIED WORKS UNDER AGE E/M-I OF GE (U) CHANDIMANDIR

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. in any type of soil n exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per the description of Srl item No 1 herein above but depth exceeding 1.50 metre but not exceeding 3.00 metre

Returning, filling in soils as in trenches, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers as in any type of soil, not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed

Removing excavated material n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in foundations and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2, (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates), in foundation and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing Cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in coping, blocks, bed plates, kerbs etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including as necessary formwork as required complete all as specified and directed. Note: Nothing extra will be paid or measured to the contractor for removing/refixing of Junction Box etc with the pole, if any, during the execution of coping etc. at site.

Supply, erection and fixing as in replacement in position 9.00 metre long, steel tubular swaged poles complete in replacment with mild steel base plate, flat top welded type 410, SP-31 IS:2713 marked, drilling of necessary holes including bolts, nuts and washers as required and painting with two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on exposed, surfaces of poles and two coats of black bituminous paint throughout internally and externally upto the planting depth including providing reflective strips of width 10cm upto a height of 1.20m from ground level in alternate colour yellow and black around the pole of pattern as approved by GE and marking pole number at appropriate height with shade and colour as approved by Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Earthwork and concrete work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 25 Sqmm 4 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles including provn of lugs, glands, nuts, bolts & washers etc for connecting in LT feeder pillar box / street light panel / junction box and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing LT underground electric cable XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured heavy duty 1100 volts grade cross section area 16 Sqmm 4 Core aluminium conductor laid in trenches/ducts or passing through pipes under road or fixed to poles including provn of lugs, glands, nuts, bolts & washers etc for connecting in LT feeder pillar box / street light panel / junction box and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed, with and including taking up or down old damaged electric cable and removing from site of work, complete all as directed.
