SPECIAL REPAIRS REPLACEMENT OF EXISTING CI LINE WITH DI LINE FROM MAIN PUMP HOUSE TO 1 AND 2 PUMP HOUSE AT AFS YELAHANKA

Taking up 150mm dia cast iron water mains including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up 200mm dia cast iron water mains including all fittings with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Ductile Iron Pipes (DI Pipes), ISI marked, Class K-7, 200 mm dia, laid in trenches including jointing with EPDM rubber gaskets conforming to IS 5382, including application of approved lubricant/grease, cutting, grinding, and finishing of pipes as required to suit site conditions, complete as per specifications and as directed. Note: (i) DI fittings/specials shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Excavation & earthwork shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Work shall be carried out on existing/running pipeline. At the end of each working day, if the pipeline is not fully laid/connected, the open ends shall be properly sealed using suitable Mechanical Joint (MJ) Collar of required size to prevent leakage. Any water discharge from the running line during execution shall be managed/removed by the contractor at no extra cost and cost included of same. The above rate is inclusive of the following: (i) Loading, unloading, stacking, and transportation of pipes to site. (ii) Lowering of pipes into trench with proper care and safety. (iii) Alignment, leveling, and correct positioning of pipes. (iv) Jointing with rubber gaskets including cleaning, lubrication, and proper insertion. (v) Cutting, grinding, edge preparation, and finishing of pipe ends etc wherever required for proper jointing and alignment. (vi) All incidental charges required for proper completion of work. (vii) Making provision for branch connections by drilling/boring holes in the pipe up to 25 mm diameter, wherever required, including all necessary tools, labour, and finishing.

All as per item No.03 above but of Size 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for fixing of DI specials with ISI Mark Confirming to IS 9523/2000 suitable for jointing pipes upto 200 mm dia for bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type,(straight ,bend, increasing, decreasing, or double socket etc) Tee pieces single branch."Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs etc all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Sluice valve of size 150 mm dia Cl body, both ends flanged duly drilled, ISI marked with IS-14846-2000, PN-1.6 having Stainless Steel spindle and check nut including operating wheel fixing with new nuts, bolts, washers and rubber insertion/packing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Sluice valve of size 200 mm dia Cl body, both ends flanged duly drilled, ISI marked with IS-14846-2000, PN-1.6 having Stainless Steel spindle and check nut including operating wheel fixing with new nuts, bolts, washers and rubber insertion/packing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, 800 mm wide including making good existing surface with 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting rate for this item and the unit rate is deemed to be inclusive for :- (i) Earth work and excavation in any type of soil. (ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and as directed. (iii) Removing excavated material out side MD land. (iv) Laying of any type/any bore of pipe in trenches including taking down existing unserviceable pipe. Supply of pipe shall be measured and paid separately. (v) 150 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in road to make good existing disturbed surfaces.

Dismantling the existing unserviceable valve chamber in complete and Construction of valve chamber of Internal size 1200mm x 1200mm x 1200mm deep with 200mm thick PCC block masonary walls built in CM 1:6 over 100 mm thick foundation concrete in PCC 1:4:8 type D2, (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) with 100 mm off sets, 15mm thick complete internal plaster and external plaster up to a depth of 15 cm below GL in CM (1:6), 3 mm thick MS sheet cover, double door welded to 50 mm x 50 mm x 6mm MS angle frame fixed with hold fasts, 20mm x 6mm flat iron hinges with locking arrangement including lock 65 mm, brass and keys , MS handles and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer to all steel surfaces including excavation & earth work in any type of soil /soft disintegrated rock and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and not exc 1.5 mtr deep for laying of pipe Hard/dense soil etc and getting out and surface dressing if required complete all as specified and directed.
