Supplying and fixing in position of caution boards on the banks of KWSP Feeder Canal from LS 14285m to LS 21500m at Vulnerable places in Thiruvallur district for the year 2026-2027

Fabricating, supplying and erection of caution boards of the following size and specification. The board is of size 1200mm x 900mm. The Gl sheet of above size and of 16 guage is provided and fixed to the sides of MS square tube using bolts and nuts. The outer frames are made of 25mm MS Square tubes. The intermediate vertical stiffners spaced at 300 mm c/c are made of MS 'Z' section 20mm x 20mm x 2mm is welded to the sides of the MS square tube and Gl sheet. The square tubes are welded together properly and ground to give a smooth finish. Two vertical posts of 3000mm height on either side of the frame of the board is provided with 40mm dia MS pipes with a stiffner of ‘L’ angle between leg posts at ground level. The frame is connected to the pipes with a system of bolts & nuts. The bottom of pipes is embedded with foundation of size 0.60 m x 0.60 m depth of 0.90 m in cement concrete 1:2:4 using 20mm gauge hard broken stone jelly and above ground level 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.30 m pedestal at site as directed by the departmental officers. All members are given a coat of red oxide primer over which two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour is given. Good quality vinyl & flex with computerized letters and text of approved size is struck to the Gl sheet surface. The board is installed at designated places as directed by the departmental officers. The cost includes cost of materials, labour charges, transport, erection, painting and all other incidental charges, etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officer
