PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL SUPPLY, WATER SUPPLY, DG SET INSTALLATIONS AT ARMY AREA UNDER GE AVADI

M&L for replacement of old unsv APFC Panel and supply, installation, testing & commissioning microprocessor based automatic power factor control 100 KVAR , LT panel board (MPFCS) 433 volt, IP-65, 50 cycles per second, cubical type, front & back openable double leaf type, dust & vermin proof with locking arrangement, powder coated with approved colour, made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm, outdoor type with canopy, cable entry glands, double compression type, duly pre-wired with suitable pillars made out of 50mm x 50mm x 6mm angle iron, grouted in & including PCC (1:2:4) using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete as per IS: 8623-1993 & all as per latest IS specifications & suitable for housing & including following accessories : - (a) Incoming MCCB of 250 Amps TP 36 KA rupturing capacity, 3 pole thermal magnetic release type with shunt trip coil - 01 No. (b) Copper bus bar duly insulated with colour coded heat shrinkable sleeve insulation for three phase four wire system of 400 Amps capacity rating with suitable size/ type non hygroscopic, non combustible track resistant, high strength FRP/ MC/ DMC insulators. (c) Capacitor switching contactor suitable for 2 x 5 + 2 x 20 + 2 x 25 capacity shunt capacitors (Contactor Amps rating shall not be less than 1.5 times nominal rated current), three poles, coil voltage 440 volts. Each contactor shall be protected with MCB TP 10 KA, D-curve type (MCB to be provided for 1.33 times KVAR ie 100% current capacity of the MPFCS irrespective of the fact that contactor's rating is 1.5 times). (d) One set current transformer (CTs) of ratio 400/5 to be fixed on bus bars of existing panel including connection with 2 core 1.5 sqmm armoured copper conductor cable complete with gland etc. (e) Shunt capacitors MPP type heavy duty 100 KVAR distributed in steps of 6 stages with configuration (2 x 5 + 2 x 20 + 2 x 25) directly connected to maintain power factor at 0.99 or unity, housed in self-extinguishing insulating material, with built in over pressure safety devices (Capacitors shall discharge automatically with electronic reactance discharge KA of suitable rating in kiloohm & watts, when power supply is switched off) 440 volts, 50 Hz, minimum static life expectancy of more than 1,15,000 hours & switching life (minimum 5000 switching operations per year) 1,00,000 hours, output capacitance tolerance of 0% to 10%. Di-electric losses less than 0.5 watt per KVAR, temperature (Max.) 55°C, IP 30 protection all as per latest IS.

M&L for replacement of old unsv LT panel and Supply, Install, Testing and Commissioning in replacement of factory made Indoor type dust and vermin proof(IP 54 protection) feeder Pillar LT Panel board cubicle double door hinged type of suitable size 415V AC, 50Hz, fabricated of GP/CRCA sheet 3.15mm thick machine pressed and angle iron frame 50mm X 50mm X 6mm grouted in PCC , powder coated in Seven Tank process inside and outside complete including 4 Pole aluminum Bus Bar of suitable size 600 Amp mounted on porcelain insulator ,concealed hinged door with Sliding door bolt door locking arrangement and enclosed in chamber made out of 2mm sheet thick GP/ CRCA sheet machine pressed and connection from incoming and outgoing electric cable with suitable size thimbles/lugs cable gland with open able shutters on both side and danger notice plate on all the four door comprising of following:- INCOMING:-a) Busbar 4 Pole, Aluminum, 600 Amps - 01 Set (ii) (b) MCCB 400 Amp 4 Pole, 36KA, of make Havells / Siemens/ Schneider ,with atdjustable thermal setting alongwith spreader terminals -01No. (iii) (c) LED type Phase indicator lamp(RYB) = 03 Nos (iv) Ammeter Digital type, CT operated 0-500A range, (with selector switch and CT 100/5 Amp) - 01 Set (v) Volt Meter Digital type 0-500 V range, ) - 01 Set Outgoing:- (i) MCCB 250 Amp 4 Pole, 36KA ,with adjustable thermal setting alongwith spreader terminals -01No. (ii) MCCB 200 Amp 4 Pole, 25KA ,with adjustable thermal setting alongwith spreader terminals -01No. (iii) MCCB 63 Amp 4 Pole, 16KA ,with adjustable thermal setting alongwith spreader terminals -01No Note:-.(i)           The panel Make should be CPRI approved (ii)     Before Placing the order contractor should take necessary approval of drawing from Engr-In-Charge and Accepting Officer. (iii) Platform for the feeder pillar board with PCC 1:2:4 15 Cm thick in foundation, Brick (Sub Class B) work in CM 1:6 ,rendering 1:6 on exposed surfaces and 100 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding on top and grouting legs of panel . The platform shall be of 40 cm below ground level and 60Cm height above ground level . Rate for Platform shall be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fix in repair / replacement for soft starter suitable for centrifugal pump of capacity 45 KW/60 HP , suitable for operating on 3 phase AC supply 415 Volts, comprising of inbuilt by-pass contractor, soft start/soft stop/adjustable current limit , essential motor protection against overload single phasing, phase sequence reversal, abnormality in supply, unbalanced current, thermostator protection through PTC, excess start time setting, PC interface & with necessary protection of start by means of contractor/relay etc. The starter shall have MCCB 200 Amp, 4 pole to control the incoming supply, transformer, under voltage protection device, over voltage protection device, semi conductor fuse, contactor, LED indicator for R/Y/B & ON/OFF indication, Amp Meter with CTs & voltmeter of suitable rating complete fixed in and including CRCA sheet 2.0 mm thick powder coated complete with fabrication work complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for construction of platform for mounting of transformer using brick masonary of sub class 'B' brick (old size). Plateform size is 3000mmx2500mmx1800mm including foundation depth of 500mm below ground level and approaching steps also inc and including provision of chain link fencing all around the transformer plateform 1.5 mtr high above the plateform top made out of 4mm thick mild steel plain wire supported with angle iron of 50mm x50mm x 6mm including provision of one opening gate of size 1 mtr wide and 1.5mtr in height with locking arrangement fixed to fencing with angle iron incl two coat of cement base paint over one coat of primer on plateform walls and two coat of synthetic paint over a coat of red oxide paint on all steel wire and angle iron, fixing of two Nos MS channel of size MC 80 at the centre of plateform top for moving of transformer wheels, including of 4 x danger notice board for HT 11000 volt fixed to each side of transformer fencing complete all as specidfied and directed. Note: - Any excavation/ earth work and PCC work shall be deemed to be including in the quoted rates.

Dismantling the old rusted sign board and supply and fixing in replacement of new weather proof sign board for water supply installation/ Electric supply installation at Avadi incl fabrication of rectangular MS pipe of size 50 mm X 25 MM framed 8 Ft X 4 Inches long and and 2 Ft X 4 inch width having provision with strips for fixing the sign board sheet duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel white paint over a coat of red oxide primer and fixed with aluminium composit panel not less than 3 mm thick duly company painted with the MES blue colour one side and gray colour other side of size 8 ft X 2 ft printed with computerised printing white strikers as on blue side for marking the name of installations 9.0 inches in height and 6 inches in width, MILITARY ENGINEER SERVICES duly border with red colour tape as per site requirement in respect of different locations and installations under GE Avadi . Fixing the same on wall of installations with proper alignment using not less than 08 Nos fasterner with nuby complete all as specidfied and directed.

Dismantling the old and painted equipment history sign board at installations in replacement and fabricated the new sign board not less than 2.25 feet in length and 4 feet in height printed with white stickers with complete detail of machinery ( ie name of Installstion, date of Installstion, SM No, MES No, capacity of the mechanary , date of manufacturer, initial Amount , Machinery supplied by the firm, Job No, CA No, other requirements as directed) made of aluminium composit panel not less than 3.0 mm thick duly company painted with the MES blue colour one side and grey colour other side computerised printing white strikers as on blue side for marking the name of installations, duly border with red colour tape as per site requirement and framed with aluminium binder in respect of different locations and installations under GE Avadi . Fixing the same on wall of installations with proper alignment using necessary fasterner with nuts, bolts and washerscomplete all as specidfied and directed.

M&L in replacement of earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm and 40 mm dia bore 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 40 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. complete all as specidfied and directed. Note :- All joints either strip to strip of strip to earth plate are fixed with welded joints.

S&F in replacement of 32 × 6 mm galvanised iron strip from test point to transformer or other equipment, including all necessary clamps, bolts, nuts, washers and connections, complete, all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of damaged earth pit chamber measuring 300 mm × 300 mm × 200 mm including excavation, earthwork, PCC, reconstruction of chamber and providing RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4 Type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), making good disturbed surfaces, complete, all as specified and directed.
