SPL REPAIR OF CONNECTING ROAD FROM OFFICE MAIN GATE TO BASIC GROUP BASIC GROUP TO FOL GROUP AND BASIC GROUP TO PACKING MATERIAL GROUP UNDER GE GURDASPUR

Scarifying or picking up gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area exceeding 400 Sqm (exceeding 50mm but not exceeding 100mm deep) including racking over and grading the broken up surfaces to proper camber and removing the unserviceable material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr away and stacking serviceable material for reuse, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour 7.50 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with coarse aggregate of (Granite, trap or basalt stone) of grading-2 (63 to 40mm) or of grading-3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 Tonne power road roller, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial items No 2 above but except materials.

Material and labour for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer using paving bitumen VG-10 at 10 kg per 10 Sqm on unsurfaced water bound macadams and laying bituminous premix Asphaltic Semi Dense Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder (Paving Bitumen VG-30) content by weight of total mix, laying/spreading uniformly by means of mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller, complete all as specified and directed. Note (a) SDAC shall be mixed in hot mixing plant. (b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab. (c) The SDAC shall be laid with mechanical paver.

Material and labour for preparing black top surface (in patches) by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-30) @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick (minimum consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binder required gradient and camber, complete (in patches) all as specified. Note (a) SDAC shall be mixed in hot mixing plant. (b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab. (c) The SDAC shall be laid with mechanical paver.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust, mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat VG-30 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg/10 Sqm bonded with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100x100x20mm with PMMA lens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer's instruction,complete all as specified and directed. Make : DA 972 of Dark eye or equivalent of make given in schedule of make.

Material & Labour for preparation of bituminous surfaces of roads and marking 2.5 mm thick centre line, stop lines, dashes, arrows and the like not exceeding 10cm wide on road pavements, with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instruction, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for premix bituminous macadam laid with 4% binder content paving bitumen VG-30 by weight of total mix rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller complete and compacted to required gradient and camber required (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less), complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for continuous modular brick edging with width equal to the depth of the brick, laid dry, on edge, complete all as specified and directed.
