Earth work excavation for desilting the existing rivers / canals / channels/odai/ nullas / drains/flood bowls/tanks/ reservoirs etc., consisting of very loose soil, silt, oily silt, slushy, marshy, loany, organic soil, sea shell and flat mica particles with zero present air void in unhygienic & insanitary conditions in under water and not under water deploying earth moving machinery with suitable floats buoys barge/ hydraulic excavator & other mechanical devices including the cost of hire charges for machinery, with cost of skilled operators with helper & cleaners for the entire operations to reach the banks in which the removed silt & sludge has to be dumped over either one of the rivers / canals / channels/odai/ nullas / drains/floods bowls / tanks / reservoirs etc, bank whichever is convenient as per the prevailing site conditions for easy conveyance and including jungle clearance etc.. complete (Rate excluding conveyance to dumping yard or low lying area) complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying and filling with M-sand of each layer not more than 10 cm thick including consolidation etc complete and as per the technical specifications directed by the Engineer in charge of the works For sluices, weirs sand retainig wall etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental Officers.

Supplying and filling in foundation, base of the lining, basement, etc with filling Gravel in 10 cm thick well watered, rammed and consolidated using hand roller etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and placing in position of plain Cement concrete of grade M10 using hard well graded aggregates with the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 40mm weigh batching the ingredients and mixing in approved mixers/batching plant (to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 10 N/mm2 at 28days) including dewatering the placement site by bailing/pumping and by diverting wherever necessary; laying the concrete in layers of various thickness and in bays; compacting and finishing the surface with all leads and lifts; watering curing so as to attain the profile and strength specified in the approved drawing & specifications etc., complete as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications

Providing and placing in position of plain Cement concrete of grade M15 using hard well graded aggregates with the nominal maximum size of coarse aggregate of 40mm (60%) and 20mm (40%); weigh batching the ingredients and mixing in approved mixers/batching plant (to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 15 N/mm2 at 28days) including dewatering the placement site by bailing/pumping and by diverting wherever necessary; laying the concrete in layers of various thickness and in bays; vibrating, compacting and finishing the surface with all leads and lifts; watering curing etc., complete so as to attain the profile and strength as directed by the Engineer in charge of works and as per the technical specifications.

Supplying and Erecting water tight steel centering for sides and soffits including necessary supports and strutting for all works etc up to 3.29 m height with all cross bracings using mild steel BG 10 sheets of size 90cm x 60cm x 10 mm gauge stiffened with welded mild steel angles of size 25x25x3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood) joist of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced at about 90cm centre to centre and suitably supported by casuarina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre, including cost of materials etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the Departmental officers. The payment for centering shall be given after the concrete is laid and the retrieved materials should be taken back by the contractor.

Providing construction contraction and lift joints in masonry concrete including curring, jointing and placing Bituman / mastic pad of 20mm thick with mastic filling as specified in the drawings directed by the engineer complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers (1.04kg of Asphalt and 1.00m2 mastic pad required for 1m2)

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position of RTS or MS reinforcement for all reinforced cement concrete works including cost of steel rods of all sizes including binding wires and labour charges for decoiling, cutting, bending and tying the grills in position etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and fixing weep holes of 110mm dia PVC pipe to a required length for protection wall Abutment & wing wall including cost of all materials to work site including labour charges for fixing of 90cm spherical backfill arrangements with 10 to 80mm dia size broken granite stone etc,complete to drain the backfill (4kg/cm2 of working pressure) complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing filter media behind the abutments and wings with clean III graded material 53mm to 5.6mm to 600mm thick and well compacted in layers with smaller sized towards the soild and bigger size towards the wall including cost and conveyance to work site inlcuding all labours and other incidental charges including hire charges for tools and plants employed etc., for filter media s per MOST's (Roads Wing) specifictions for Roads and Bridges "Fourth Revision Cl.309-3-13 and 305-4-4 etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Conveying the excavated silt in unhygienic & insanitary conditions to the dunmping yard or low lying areas as directed by the field Engineer’s by deploying the earth moving machinery, hydraulic excavator, tippers & other mechanical devices including the cost of hire charges for machinery, with cost of skilled operators with helper & cleaners, including leveling etc.. Conveyance by roads in plains 0 to 10 km including Loading Unloading and transportation charges.
