"Material and labour for Checking the serviceability of different spares / components / parts of security light fittings (HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide, T-5, LED Lights, Post top lantern, Trafic light fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/ damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, connecting to electric supply and its testing on installation complete all as specified and as directed. "

"Notes for item No. 1.00 :- (i) New parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item(s) of this schedule as 'Supply Only'. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions and its fixing in position including checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and the rate shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item No.1 above

(iii) Required screws, insulating tapes, internal wiring wire , gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition including rectification of cable fault & over head power line fault by fault finding/identification." will be arranged and supplied by the contractor and cost for which is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor in this item

"(iv) Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A' items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fitting and replacement of unserviceable / defective parts in order to maintain the fitting in serviceable/working condition. (v) Contractor shall attend the said job as and when ordered by Engineer-in-Charge and replace the spare parts / fittings immediately witout loosing the time. (vi) Immediately, on acceptance of contract, spare parts shall be brought by the contractor on priority basis after getting approved and attend the complaint on priority basis. (vii) Site of work is scattered in Domestic and Training area and the contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting the rate.

(viii) Contractor's supervisor shall attend the office of JE E/M at 0900 hrs every day (except holiday) to get the task / location / nature of compaint and in the evening, shall give feed back of compaint to JE E&M without fail. (ix) If contractor is failed to attend the complaint within 12 hours after receiving the message from AGE E&M/JE E&M, then a panality of Rs.100.00 per each three hours will be impossed upto 24 hrs after expiry of first 12 hours. The after a panality of Rs.1000.00 shall be impossed for next each 24 hours. In this regards the GE's decision is final"

Material and labour for Preparation of old painted surface of electrical pole any type upto the height of 11 meters and applying aluminium paint over a coat of metal primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note : (i) Location of boring holes shall be decided by the Engr-in-Charge as per requirement, nothing extra shall be payable on account of variation in length of crossing of road etc. (ii) During boring soil strata may be changed, hence nothing extra shall be paid to the contractor for boring of holes through different strata/different type of soil. Tenderer is hereby advised to keep in mind this aspect while quoting his rate under this item.
