Supply and fix coloured galvalume profile sheet in roof-covering, roofing shall be with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm (minimum ) base metal thickness, minimum 550 Mpa yield strength and shall confirm to physical specification of ASTM-792 or equivalent , colour coated galvalume sheet shall have maximum pitch of 250 mm c/c and minimum 28 mm crest depth in length as per site requirement. The steel sheet shall be coated with hot dip metallic aluminium zink alloy (55 % alluminium 43.5% zink and 1.5% silicon ) coating AZ 150 as 150 gm/sqm total on both sides, the contractor shall submit manufacturer test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties, confirming genuinely of material including base metal thickness and paint thickness and AZ coating 150 coating thickness must be submitted for approval to GE prior to installation /fixing. the manufacturer of sheet should submit related documents for expected product services performance of pre painted metal sheet as per relevant ASTM/IS. manufacturer's recommended installation methodology shall be adopted for installation of roofing including profiled sheet, capping, trims, flashing , gutter and all type of accessories considered for roofing, Fastener shall be used for fixing roofing system as per manufacture's recommendation. The painting shall be coloured backed enamel super durable polyester with silicon coating of film thickness of minimum 25 micron ( including primer) on top and minimum 10 micron (including primer) on interior face . The paint shall be of shade as approved by GE and fixed with self drilling screws all as specified and directed confirming as in roof covering / cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screw, complete all as specified and directed. Note-total thickness of sheet with BMT, AZ 150 coating and Painting shall not be less than 0.575 mm.
