REMOVING OF OLD UNSERVICEABLE PLY TOP AND PROVIDING/FIXING OF NEW PLY TOP IN VARIOUS TYPES OF CHARPOY AND BED HARD HELD FOR PBORs AND OTM ACCN UNDER GE ALWAR AT MILITARY STATION ALWAR

Removing existing unserviceable 12 mm thick plywood top from Charpoy GI pipe, tightening complete charpoy including loose check nuts, elbows, long rails and short rails, and supply and fixing new plywood top 12 mm thick, 7 ply, commercial type, ISI marked, BWR grade, size 2020 mm x 940 mm, on top in single piece for each charpoy, including 12 Nos galvanised iron nuts and bolts 6 mm dia x 70 mm long with sufficient Nos GI washers of suitable size/thickness on top to maintain plywood top in level position and one GI heavy duty washer on underside before tightening the nuts, including embossing “MES” with paint on all four corners of plywood top, complete all as specified and directed by GE. Note: Size of plywood top shall be strictly 2020 mm x 940 mm and no tolerance in size shall be accepted. Plywood shall be provided in single piece for each charpoy. (Drg No. FD-220). Removing unserviceable stiffeners from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing 2 Nos square MS tubes, size 32 mm x 32 mm x 16 gauge thick, approximately 836 mm long, fixed on long rails, painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, black, over one coat of red oxide primer, including provision of 1 No nut and bolt assembly with washer for fixing plywood on each tube, welding the square tubes between two long rails at equal spacing centrally, including providing two holes in each MS tube at equal spacing, complete all as specified and directed by GE. M&L removing old unserviceable long rails from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing new long rails, size 1884 mm long, made out of 32 mm bore medium grade GI pipe, duly threaded at both ends and locked with check nut on each side, including fixing complete to charpoy, all as specified and directed by GE. M&L removing old unserviceable short rails from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing new short rails, size 814 mm long, made out of long rails retrieved vide item 1(c) hereinbefore, duly threaded at both ends and fixing complete to charpoy, all as specified and directed by GE. M&L removing old unserviceable legs from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing new legs, size 394 mm long, made out of short rails retrieved vide item 1(d) hereinbefore, duly threaded at one end, including plugging bottom of each leg with 3 mm thick mild steel sheet welded to bottom of leg and fixing complete to charpoy, all as specified and directed by GE. M&L removing old unserviceable 3-way elbow from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fixing new 3-way elbow, 32 mm bore, ISI marked, to charpoy, complete all as specified and as per Drg No. FD-220, and directed by GE. Make: SAIL/TATA/Jindal.

Removing existing unserviceable plywood and supply and fixing new plywood top, size 2050 mm x 900 mm, made out of 12 mm thick BWR grade commercial plywood, including cutting, fitting and fixing complete to bed, all as specified and as per relevant drawing and directed by GE. Plywood Make: Centuryply/Greenply/Archidply.

Supply and fixing rubber shoes/pads for bed legs, of approved size and pattern, including proper fitting and securing to the bottom of each leg, complete all as specified and as per relevant drawing and directed by GE.
