REPAIR REPLACEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY PUMPING PIPE LINE RISING MAIN INCLUDING AIR RELIFE VALVE SLUICE VALVE NRV AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS AT NAVAL STATION KARANJA

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 m wide and not n exc 1.5 m depth and getting out in hard dense soil including grading and ramming bottom surface all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge for laying pipes and fittings.

Returning, filling in soil including, spreading, levelling watering & well ramming in layers n exc 25 cm including making good disturbed surfaces to original levels complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavated material soil to a distance n exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed

Material and Labour for Chequered cement concrete tiles 300mmx300mmx25mm thick set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors with in equal proportions & pigments with red and yellow colour over including 20mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 including dismantling of existing tiles of any description or thickness complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D2, using (40 mm graded agg) , 75mm thick as in sub base of flooring all as specified & directed

Material and Labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using (20 mm graded aggregate) as in kerbing all around tile complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for PCC 1:3:6, type C2 (using 40 mm graded agg) 75 mm thick as in plinth protection without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out cast iron water mains (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering lead for the following:- (a) 300 mm bore Note :- Excavation and earth work required shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.
