Removing of old unserviceable newar from existing Charpoy GI Pipe, Reassembing/tightening of Charpoy frame to bring the frame in original position after removing the unserviceable long rail/ Short rail/ elbow/ Check nut/ leg wherever found unserviceable and fixing new parts as directed. New parts wherever required and ordered shall be paid separately under respective items of schedule 'A' here in after as supply only if ordered to be replaced.

Supply only new GI elbow 3 way 32 mm (ISI marked) medium grade, 65mm long ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only check nut 32mm dia, 6mm thick (ISI Marked) medium grade of best quality ISI marked, complete, all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing new long rail 1980mm long of 32mm dia medium grade GI Pipe, ISI marked and threading the same 22mm long at one end and 52mm long at other end and fixing in position complete all as shown on drawing, Make of medium grade ISI marked GI Pipe.

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable long rail as retrieved vide Srl No 4 here -in-before into two short rails and fixed to charpoy GI Pipe duly threaded 22mm long at both ends including removal of old and broken threaded short rails.

Cutting and converting the old unserviceable short rail as retrieved vide Srl No 5 here -in-before into two legs and fixed to charpoy GI Pipe duly threaded 22mm long at both ends including removal of old and broken unserviceable legs.

Supply and fixing new MS flat iron stiffner of size 900mmx40mmx5mm, 02 in numbers in each charpoy of approved make duly grinded at all the sharp edges and duly fixed with round headed steel nut and bolts with washer of suitable size across the long rail at equal spacing. MS flat iron strip shall be painted with two coats of synthetic enamel black paint over a coat of red oxide primer.

Supply and fixing 12mm thick plywood top of size 1980mm x 900mm commercial, BWR grade, ISI marked, fixed with 10 Nos mild steel nuts and bolts 6mm dia with washers, after drilling to charpoy GI pipe complete, all as specified and as directed. Note : (a) Plywood to be procured from authorised dealer in one lot and test certificate to be produced before incorporation in the work. (b) GE will carryout verification of voucher as per policy in vogue before starting of work. (c) Independent Test report will be done in the Zonal Lab or any NABL approved lab as directed by the GE without any extra cost to the Deptt.
