SPECIAL REPAIR TO BUILDING NO P-478 (SQUASH COURT) AT AIR FORCE STATION CARNICOBAR

M & L careful dismantaling and removal of existing Teak/Maple wood squash court flooring system, including top finished boards, underlayment, sleepers, and shock-absorbing ruuber pads. The scope includes staking of reusable material or disposal of debris outside the premises as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Rate shall include all labor, tools, and equipment required for the task.

M&L for installation of Maple wood flooring system in the squash court (size 6.33x9.6) with the following specification over the existing PCC flooring:- a) Surface board:- (Moisture to be maintained appx 14% at the time of dispatch), Treated Maple wood finished with 21 mm thick, 50 to 83 mm wide and in random length in tounge and groove shaped.The edges of board will have a finger lock groove and the bottom side with air pass groove and treated with special anti termite and water resistent laquid. b) The under frame :- Made of commercial quality pine wood runners of 70 mmx 45 mm treated with anti termite treatment solution and fixed on the bottom sides with 10 mm thick air coutioned pads, stapelled through the two wings at 350 mm x 350mm. c) Installation :- IPS subfloor treated with a vapor barrier to be placed on leveled IPS sub-floor before laying the under frame. The runners having air cousion pads to be placed on the vapor barried in perfect level at 350 mm in one direction. The surface board will be screwed and nails to the runner through the toungh only and will lock the screwed tounge by the groove of adjoining board. Ends of the board will be locked by inserting the wooden fingers through. The edge grooves and fixed with suitable adhesive. An expansion of 8 to 10mm to be left open between the wooden and completing the Maple wood flooring complete all as per manufactures instructions/specifications and as directed.

M&L for ARMOURCOAT Plaster 2-coat resin-modified gypsum plasters specifically developed to comply with the WSF requirement for a “hard, smooth finish” system meeting specification for squash court laid. The Armourcoat comprises 10 mm of basecoat and 4mm of finish coat i.e. 10 mm base coat with silica and sand and top coat is of 4 mm which makes it a total thickness of 14 mm. complete all as per manufactures instuction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

S& F of WSF approved freestanding glasswalls made of 12 mm thick toughned glass, which comprise 4 glass panels and a glass door supported by glass fins ,Fixures and all the material reqd for eracting the glass walls. The height of the glass wall will be 2030 mm above finished floor level and a finished width of 6400 ±10mm,complete all as per manufactures instuction and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M&L for sound board for Squash court comprising of wooden & metal board (of required strength) to absorb impact of squash court and to sound having standard size of 6.40mX0.60m along (3 Nos incl Tin board of 22 guage) with its fittings & accessories (Such as metal sheet& Joineries) including wooden frame of size 10cmX5cm and its fixing on the front wall of sauash court using suitable fixing arrangments complete all as per manufactures instructions/specifications and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for providing game line marking (wall and wooden flooring) as per the WSF standard game line marking, for a squash court of size 8x10 m including standard marking on wall complete all as per manufactureres instructions/specifications and and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Dismantling Wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/slabs/blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix anodised aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling with 605mm x 605mm size, consisting of main Tee of size 40 x 40 x 2mm, cross Tee of size 40 x 40 x 2mm and wall angle of size 40 x 40 x 2mm of approved make including all necessary cuttings, fixing of aluminium section firmly in position with and including steel hangers 6 mm dia G.I. wire (upto 1200 mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60 mm long and expansion hold fasteners 40 mm long in soffit of slab/walls complete all as specifed and as directed including provision of 10 mm thick PVC insulation panels with EPS stuck to 1 mm th plain PVC sheet sutaibly placed in false ciling 600 mm x 600mm grid, fixed in ceiling, flat or sloping, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Rate quoted above shall be deemed to include for making holes, cutting chassis if any required and making good to existing walls in cement mortar 1: 3 to match with existing surface finish as directed at site.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding ( but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick area of each tile exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.38 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match ,light shade, incl 15 mm thick rendering in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.
