Round the Clock Operation and Guarding of Centrifugal Pumping Machineries, Sludge Pumps, Back Wash Pumps, Dewatering Pumps, Internal lighting Arrangement, Gaseous Chlorination System and other allied works at Water Treatment Plant under Surface Water

Daily operation & guarding of installed horizontal split casing centrifugal pumping machinery, sludge pump, back wash pump, dewatering pumps, gaseous chlorination system (charges for chlorine gas filling in the toner and charge for caustic will be borne by the Department) etc. including ACBs, P.F. correction device, LT MCC / panel, LT control / Distribution panel along with other equipments like soft starter, electrical gadgets, valves, compound lighting etc. by skilled and un-skilled labours round the clock including up-keepment of entire installation at WTP premises as per direction of EIC for 365 days. Major Electro Mechanical machineries at the installation:- i) Centrifugal pumps - 3 nos. (280KW X 3), (2W + 1S) ii) LT MCC panel including all ACB's. iii) Back wash pump - 2nos. (15KW X 2) iv) Dewatering motor (0.75KW/1 HP)-2nos. v) Waste water recycle pump (10HP) - 2nos. vi) Waste water sludge transfer pump (4HP) - 2nos. vii) Back wash Air blower and motor (45KW/60HP) - 2nos. viii) Waste water pump submersible mixtures(2.2KW) - 4nos. ix) Gaseous Chlorination System inclu. Alum crusher, alum dosing pump motors, pre chlorination & post chlorination pump motors etc. x) Internal lighting arrangement etc. xi) Sludge pump & motors.

Routine & Periodical inspection by Electrical Supervisor having valid Supervisor Certificate of competency from Directorate of Electricity (Licensing Board), Govt of West Bengal or under any other State, Govt of India alongwith Pump Technician / Supervisor. Each visit should be recorded in the Log Book ( with date & time) to be supplied by the Agency and kept in respective Station. The Supervisor required to have thorough / in depth inspection of all the Electrical appliances to ascertain the healthy / fault free operational condition of each equipments i.e. for Pumps, Motors, Valves with Actuators, Flow Level / pressure instruments, Gauges, Lighting system, Hoisting arrengements, Exhaust Fans, L T Panel Boards, Cables, Capacitors, including safety management system in compliance to the guide line as mentioned in the NIT. The periodical chart in tabular format as per direction of the EIC and in comply to the specification enclosed herewith for the check points scheduled should be furnished to the Department through out the entire period of 12 months.

Cleaning of contacts twice in a month in the LT Panel Board, Busbar, cleanning of all Terminal Sockets, Coils once in a month in presence of Electrical Supervisor/ Electrician and to be recorded in the Log Book with date including supply of cotton waste, broom, torch, detergents, liquid sopas, gloves, apron, tools, tackles, terminals, sockets, fuses, indicating lamps etc. as & when required through out the entire period of 12 months.
