PROVISION OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND WORK SERVICES FOR RESURFACING AND RAISING OF ROADS AT AF STN BORJHAR, GUWAHATI

SCHEDULE 'A' PART-I (B/R PORTION)

Excavating over areas, not exc 1.5m deep and getting out hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting using power roller capacity exc 8 tonne and not exc 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exceeding 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and as directed.

Soling (or sub base) 200mm compacted thickness with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as directed by engr-in-charge.

M&L for 15 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM( laid in two layers of 7.5cm thickness each), with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) and subsequent layer of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No. 07 above but except material. Note:Old serviceable coarse aggregates obtained from scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam shall be reused.

Preparing un surfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire bruses and removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 10 kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat using paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm over existing/ new black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen content (VG-30) and minimum 2% cement as filler by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and laid with self propelled mechanical paver fixed with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls, rolled and compacted with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Semi Dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder contents shall be provided as per design mix.

Premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne power roller consolidated to average thickness 75 mm or less using binder content bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 4% by weight of total mix cpmplete all as specified and as directed. Note:-The bituminious mix shall be prepared in hot mix plant and transported to the site in clean vehicle and shall be laid by means of a self-propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor and hydraulic controls all as directed.

Screening road materials, chippings etc on the site of work where specifically ordered including removing screened materials clear of screen and stacking in separate heaps for measuring complete all as directed. Note: Materials from both side of screen shall be measured.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvatuure, jointed with cement mortar 1:3, including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not be more than 5mm), including making drainage opening whereever required complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc on roads, pavements and the like not exc 10 cm wide with road marking paint white or golden yellow including preparation of new or previously treated surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of bricks (laid flat or on edge) or brick tiles in flooes, channels, kerbs, aprons, etc.(each layer) laid beded and pointed in any mortar complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6), type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipe of 450 mm bore including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tesated complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 450 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe class NP2 laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6), type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in bed to drain pipe of 300 mm bore including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tesated complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 300 mm bore reinforced concrete pipe class NP2 laid and jointed with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of white wash, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in surface channel/ drains including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class ‘B’ bricks (locally available best quality) straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in benching, coping, slightly rounded or chamfered on edges, finished even and smooth on exposed concrete surface without using extra cement, including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate, in surface channels and drains finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 50 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 80 cm inner girth in cement concrete, using extra cement, including forms, moulds, mitred/ stopped ends etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 Cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material(Soil) to a distance exc. 500 m but not exceeding 1.50 KM and depositing where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in precast cover slab etc., set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for TMT bars 10 mm dia & over, cut to length, bent to shape as required including cranking, bending and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia as in reinforcement bar complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick/stone massonry work built in cement mortar as in wall including all quoins, arches, pillars etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for framed work such as grills, gratings, etc. with ends of bars shouldered and/ or riveted, or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, barred iron doors, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sluice gate made out of rolled MS sections conforming to Fe.290, Gde-E-165 in any position of existing boundary, complete all as shown on drawing and as directed by Engr-in charge.

Construction of sump pit of size 8.0mx6.0mx1.5m deep (from lowest invert level of adjoining drain), complete all as shown on drawing and as directed by Engr-in charge including necessary arrangement for disposal of drainage from sump to outside existing drain.

Construction of sump pit of size 6.0mx4.5mx1.5m deep (from lowest invert level of adjoining drain), complete all as shown on drawing and as directed by Engr-in charge including necessary arrangement for disposal of drainage from sump to outside existing drain.
