Excavation of materials from river bed / stoney soil as noted below as per designed section and throwing the spoils for making banks as profile or to deposit the same in any other place as directed by the Engineer-incharge for making embankment within a lead of 50 metre and lift upto 4 metre. including dressing etc. complete. (Work is to be done with mechanical devices)-Boulder, shingles, sand debries, having size above 20 cm. upto 40 cm. more than 30% and upto 40% by volume (as per visual estimation) including removing roots and stumps of trees and minings, cost of profiling, channel crossing etc. complete.

Extra rate over Item No 1 for a lead of Average 150 m or part thereof beyond initial lead.

Construction of embankment by earth moving machinery with approved materials already deposited at site available from river bed cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures as per given profile for formation of bank and as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work)-With carried earth arranged by the contractor within a radius exceeding 5 km. but not exceeding 10 km. including cost of carried earth.

Construction of Embankment with Material Deposited from Roadway Cutting. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD including carriage of material for a distance of 1 km.

Carriage of Sand, Moorum and similar materials over pucca road with a lead of 16 KM

loading, unloading and stacking by Manual Means Loading in to trucks at the lifting point, unloading at destination, stacking properly in go downs or yard etc. as directed including carriage by head load up to a lead of 50.00 m at each of the two points.(b) Earth

Supply of HDPE Geo-Membrane liner as per ASTM specification having thickness 500 Microns including storage and transportation at site

Laying of a geotextile filter between pitching and embankment slopes on which pitching is laid to prevent escape of the embankment material through the voids of the stone pitching/cement concrete blocks as well as to allow free movement of water without creating any uplift head on the pitching.

Supplying at site and laying in position UV stabilized needle punched, stapled fibre / continuous filament polypropylene non-woven geotextile of 300 GSM as filter, as per specification, including cost of preparing the bed, placing the geotextile as per profile with at least 15cm lapping, wherever required and anchorage at top, sewing / welding the overlapped portion, storage and transportation by all means, complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supply of empty cement bags in good condition

Supplying at site geotextile bags of size 1.00 m x 0.70 m using UV stabilized needle punched polypropylene non-woven geotextile of 300 GSM as per specification, double stitched at two ends with polypropylene or equivalent yarn including cost of transportation by all means and other incidental charges complete.

Labour charges for filling Geo-textile bags with filler materials (earth/sand), machine stitching the open end of the bag with thread as per design and placing the same on slope or dumping from bank within initial lead of 150m and all lifts including carriage and hire charges of all materials and equipments but excluding the cost of filler materials as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge i) Bag size 1.00m x 0.70m of capacity 0.1325 cum/bag

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of sand and gunny bags.

Cost of sand (Fine)(Grading Zone III as per IS:383-1970

Hiring Charges of DG 500KVA including all accessories, operator charge, transportation charge i.e. complete item for operation of DG set. The DG Set will be kept ready in operating condition round o'clock for use of DG set any time during whole day.

Extra for POL on account of operating of various machineries.

Hiring of 60 HP electric centrifugal dewatering pump@2nos including transportation charge, all labour charges, repair & maintenance charges and all required accessories etc. required for operation of pump. The pump will in used in dewatering work as directed by EIC and to the satisfaction of EIC. Electricity will be provided by NHPC free of cost

Hiring of 35 HP submersible electric dewatering pump@4nos including transportation charge, all labour charges, repair & maintenance charges and all required accessories etc. required for operation of pump. The pump will in used in dewatering work as directed by EIC and to the satisfaction of EIC. Electricity will be provided by NHPC free of cost

Hiring of electric 7.5 HP submersible dewatering pump @02 nos including all accessories and transportation charge.The dewatering pump will be kept ready in operating condition round the clock for use of dewatering pump any time during whole day.

Supplying at site 9mm polypropylene (PP) rope gabion (4-strand and mesh size 75mm x 75mm) as per specification, laying along sea/riverside toe of embankment, closing and locking the gabions,inter locking the adjoining gabions, after placement of full bricks inside, including cost of all materials (excluding bricks), labours,transportation to site by all means, all leads and lifts complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. Gabion of size 2m (L) x 1m (W) x 1m (H), with intermediate partition at every metre width.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams,columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges,making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 25mm average thickness

Extra Cutting of exposed reinforcement bars manually by mechanical means in RCC of R.B work (Payment shall be made on the cross sectional area of RCC /RB work) as per direction of EIC.

Cleaning the concrete surface by removing dirt and debris, marking defective locations and removing loose concrete by careful stripping until hard surface is exposed, cutting the concrete to regular shape, wire brushing the exposed surface and removing debris from site complete as per direction of the Engineer - in - Charge.

Providing 01SEMI- Skilled and 08 unskilled manpower for slush removal.

Drilling of 32mm dia holes for 25mm dia steel anchors and 500mm deep into old concrete by way of jack hammer or other suitable equipment.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4 m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns,lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor) c) Steel shuttering or 9 to 12 mm thick approved quality ply board shuttering in any concrete work (upto roof of ground floor)

Providing Reinforcement steel of various diameter at Stilling basin and Spillway Glacis for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structures including distribution bars, stirrups, binders etc initial straightening and removal of loose rust (if necessary), cutting to requisite length, hooking and bending to correct shape, placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction (a) For works in foundation and upto roof of ground floor/upto 4 m I. Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as per specifications and direction of Engineer-In-Charge complete in all respect, Epoxy bonding adhesive having coverage 2.20 sqm/kg of approved make.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-70 A20 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including transferring of concrete to site by transit mixture etc. and placing and laying at site but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement but including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability and strength without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Cement content 535 Kg, silicafume75 Kg, Superplasticizer 7.93 Kg, Aggregate Pakur Variety and sand river sand). Concrete is to be poured as per mix design provided by EIC and as per direction of EICVariation in cement, silica fume and admixture shall be regulated at the rate given in special condition of contract-Ready Mixed Concrete.

Providing and applying high performance cementitious R4 mortar EN 1504-3 on exposed/ eroded concrete surface as per technical specification.(Complete finished item with all leads and lifts).

Hiring of wheel mounted Crane 14/15 MT ( Hydra or eq) with crew member & maintenance charges excluding fuel charges which shall be paid extra @6.44Ltr/Hr for actual working hours.The crane will be kept ready in operating condition round o'clock for use of crane any time during whole day.

Hiring charges of light duty Tipper dumper GVW 9.6T (load carrying capacity 3-5 mt/10 cum) with crew members & maintenance charges excluding fuel charges which shall be paid extra @5.45 lit/hr for actual working hours. for removal of slush/silt deposited in stilling basin. Tipper will be kept ready in operating condition round o'clock for use of tipper any time during whole day.
