S&F cast iron body sluice valve heavy duty class ‘PN-1.6’ of 100 mm bore, ISI marked with IS 14846, both flanged ends and drilled, high tensile stainless steel spindle, CI gate with brass ring, non rising type, cast iron wheel handle, cast iron cap, complete with 3mm thick neoprene rubber gasket joint and nuts, bolts (high tensile), washers etc, and testing complete all as specified & directed including dismantling & taking out old unserviceable sluice valve. Make-Kirloskar/Kartar/Zoloto/BIR.

M&L construction of brick masonry valve pit of existing size as directed including excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC in foundation, coping, plastering, mild steel sheet cover 2 mm thick with locking arrangement, 80mm dia lock with 3 keys, painted with two coats of bituminous paint etc all as specified & directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable valve pit of any size complete all as directed.

De-watering the existing over head reservoir of 2 lakh gallons capacity and cleaning all internal surfaces of roof, walls & floor to remove scales, mud & other foreign material, scrubbing with water using jute/bushes and washing the surfaces with mixture of bleaching powder & fresh water, finally washing the surfaces with fresh water and treating all internal surfaces with one coat of white wash complete and writing date of cleaning & in thick synthetic enamel paint on outer surface of reservoir in block capital letters of height 30cm complete all as directed. Any damage occurred to the assets during cleaning etc shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost & all protective & safety measures for workmen against Honey Bee, insects, creatures, gases, height etc shall be responsibility of the contractor. Any damage occurred to the assets during cleaning etc shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost & All protective & safety measures for workmen against Honey Bee, insects, creatures, gases, height etc shall be responsibility of the contractor. De-watering existing under ground sump of 50000 gallons capacity and cleaning all internal surfaces of roof, walls & floor to remove scales, mud & other foreign material, scrubbing with water using jute/bushes and washing the surfaces with mixture of bleaching powder & fresh water, finally washing the surfaces with fresh water and treating all internal surfaces with one coat of white wash complete and writing date of cleaning & in thick synthetic enamel paint on outer surface of UG Sump in block capital letters of height 20cm complete all as directed. Any damage occurred to the assets during cleaning etc shall be made good by the contractor at his own cost. All protective & safety measures for workmen against Honey Bee, insects, creatures, gases, height etc shall be responsibility of the contractor. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include for this provision.

Notes for serial item No 6.00 to 11.00 :- (i) The mixture of bleaching powder & water for cleaning shall be prepared by mixing 250gm bleaching powder in 10 litres of fresh water. (ii) All inlets/outlets/over flow/wash out connections shall be cleaned. Any leakage in joints shall be made good as directed and quoted rate also includes this aspect. (iii) The existing water, water used for cleaning etc shall be bailed out at nearest open drain available. (iv) Any damage occurred to assets during cleaning etc shall be made good by contractor at his own cost. (v) Contractor shall take all safety precautions into account and all safety tools shall be provided by the contractor to all working staff. In case of any mishappening/casualty happens to men/ animal/cattle etc, no claim whatsoever in this respect will be admissible, the entire responsibility shall be of contractor and no compensation will be entertained in this regard by the department. Insurance, compensation to persons etc shall be liability of the contractor. Cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. (vi) The contractor shall be responsible for making good the damages occurred due to negligence in workmanship during cleaning of chamber / tank. The decision of the Accepting Officer shall be final and binding with regard to a particular defects / damages/breakage of existing equipment/lines/structure etc during cleaning which may be caused due to contractor’s people. ( vii) No T&P shall be supplied by the department.

M&L in repair aluminium strip 25mm x 3.15mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for fitting the strip for roof conductor & down conductors above ground level at any hight of OH tank all as specified & as directed.

M&L glow sign board of size 150cm x 90cm x 15cm out door type, totally enclosed with locking arrangement, made of 1.75mm thick both side poly carbonate milky white sheet with letters/matter by overlay colour film (colour as approved by GE) pasted over sheet, frame work made out of 26 gauge thick galvanized iron sheet and 50mm x 50mm x 5mm MS angle iron, including LED tube light fittings 1x18 watt - 2 Nos, (Make: Havells /Phillips /Syska) prewired, with & including all standard accessories including making electric connections with suitable size mutistranded copper wire, including two coats of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of zinc chrome primer after preparation of steel surfaces, fixed at site by grouting the legs of frame in PCC (1:2:4 type B1) block of size 30cm x 30cm x 45cm, including dismantling & taking out old sign board, complete all as directed. Note : Top of sign board shall be 2 metre from ground level. Surface excavation not exceding 30 cm deep in hard and dense soiland averaging 15 cm deep and getting out green vegetation, roots, bushes, etc surrounding of pump house, cutting anxious green growth / vegetation growth for cleaning out the area around OH tank / pump house at ground level by cutting up root, un- wanted plants / trees bushesh and removal the same to a distance not less than 50 mtr directed. Note:- begning from acceptance of contract to completion date.

M&L in repair air termination, single pointed aluminium rod, 12mm dia, 300mm long fixing over the GI tube 25mm dia, 1.5mtr long with the nut, bolts and washers clamps on the roof at any height in 30cm x 30cm x 30cm PCC block complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old rusted pit cover of any size and M&L for fabrication of valve pit /sump chambe/overhead tank cover made out of angle iron frame and MS plates of thickness 3 mm including of openable arrangement by heavy duty MS Hings of suitable size painted with synthetic enamelled paint (Blue colour) over a coat of primer including grouting of frame in PCC or brick work with plaster and final touch with double layer of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

M&L painting of existing valve pit by scrapping and cleaning old rusted pit cover and then painted with synthatic enamelled paint (Blue colour) inside and outside in two coat over a coat of primer all as specified and directed.

Supply CALCIUM HYPO CHLORITE 65% to 70% (Calcium based granular disinfectant for water treatment more stable than chlorine gas, and stronger than bleaching powder, and sodium hypochlorite) and contained appropriate quantities of dispersants /corrosion inhibitors to prevent encrustation /scaling in distribution system packed in 40/45 Kg plastic drums and contain complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Make of CALCIUM HYPO CHLORITE granules shall be as approved by Engr-in-Charge.

Testing of drinking water collected from all overhead tank & all ug sump in the area of Alwar mil station and submission of detailed test report location wise to the office of Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500-2012 mandatory for chemicla colur, odour, taste, turbidity, PH value, TDS total hardness, iron, chloride, fluoride and residual free chlorine and Bacterological totla coliform organisms per 100ml (MPN) and E coli in 100 ml with specific recommendation regarding suitability of water for dirnking pruposes. (ii) Collecton of water form different surces of water ie Sump,overhead tank in a sterilized bottle and testing in NABL Approved laboratory as mentioned in specification. Note:- Rate Quoted shall also deemed to be included for the followings :- (iii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of samples form surces (sump & overhead tank).
