   The tenderer should have successfully executed supply, installation, testing and commissioning of double leaf automatic sliding doors / automatic passenger entrance door systems / retro fitment of automatic sliding door systems for EMU/MEMU/Metro/railway coaches during the last 03 years reckoned from the date of tender opening. The tenderer shall submit documentary evidence in support of satisfactory execution such as Purchase Orders, Inspection Certificates issued by RITES/RDSO/TPI, Commissioning Certificates, Completion Certificates, R Notes, or Performance Certificates from Southern Railway or other Zonal Railways/Production Units/Metro Rail organizations. The tenderer should satisfy any one of the following: a) Successfully supplied, fitted, installed and commissioned at least one complete unit/coach set of similar automatic sliding door system in Railway/Metro rolling stock applications; OR b) Successfully executed similar supplies for a minimum value of 20% of the advertised tender value in a single purchase order, i.e., approximately Rs. 25,40,000/-, during the last 03 years counted backwards from the date of tender opening. Note: 'Similar items' shall mean supply, fitment, installation, testing and commissioning of double leaf automatic sliding doors / automatic passenger entrance doors / retrofitment of automatic sliding door arrangements for railway rolling stock, EMU, MEMU, Metro coaches or similar passenger rolling stock applications.

   (1) Preferably manufacturers should participate. In case of firms other than OEMs participating in the tender, they must submit tender specific Authorization from OEM or valid dealership certificate from OEM along with their offer failing which their offers will not be considered. (2) OEMs can authorize and give Tender Specific Authorization to its Agent / Dealers to quote on their behalf provided the vendor takes full responsibility for the quality of the material including warranty obligation.Please refer para 3.4 of Part-B of Southern Railway Tender Conditions attached with this tender.

   EMD shall be 2% of the estimated tender value and shall be taken from all bidders for contract value above Rs. 25 Lakh subject to the applicable exemptions. For details please refer 2.0 Part A of Southern Railway Tender Conditions available under the mentioned link in the tender.

   Please enter the percentage of local content in the material being offered. Please enter 0 for fully imported items, and 100 for fully indigenous items. The definition and calculation of local content shall be in accordance with the Make in India policy as incorporated in the tender conditions.

   Validity of offers: Offers should be valid for 120 days after closing date of tender. Any offer having lesser validity shall be deemed as commercially unresponsive and will be summarily rejected.
