Note;- Only crushed stone material should be used on local sand/ tibbas sand shall be used. the material finer than 425 micron shall have zero plasticity index (PI) )

Providing and laying spreading and compacting 200 mm thick wet mix macadam (WMM) course in twoe layer ( 100+100mm) conforming to as per clause no. 406 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013 including premixing with water to OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage to mixed material to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base/ base coarse on well prepared surface and compacting with power/ vibratory roller to achieve the desired density for all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per MORT&H specification 2013. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion MS @ 60 kg per hundred sqm on new WMM surface and complete in all respects including cost of emulsion as per clause No. 502 of MORT&H specification 5th revision. Instructions issued by MORT&H from time to time regarding bitumen emulsion will be followed strictly.

Providing & laying Bituminous tack coat of Bitumen Grade SS-1 using 2.00 Kg per 10 Sqm area on existing Bituminous surface complete in all respect including cost of Bitumen emulsion as per clause No. 503 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision of 2013 / latest edition. Instruction issued from time to time regarding bitumen will be followed strictly.

Providing and laying 50 mm thick compacted Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layer with 80-100 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibrator and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505, and 113.3 of MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th Revision) of 2013 / latest edition using minimum 4.50 % bitumen grade [VG - 30] as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect i/c cost of bitumen, instruction issued from time to time by MORT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver finisher with electronic sensor device conforming to MORT&H specification in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 4.00% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Thickness of DBM laid over the existing Black Top surface is to be adjusted in such a manner that a camber of 2.5% is achieved. Any extra quantity over and above the quantity provided in the DNIT, required to achieve 2.5% camber shall be incidental to work. ( Note :- Before laying DBM on existing road surface, any existing pot holes and cracks shall be repaired and sealed in accordance with clasue No. 3004.2 and 3004.3 . Proper measurement and consumption shall be entered in MB , but no payment on this account shall be made, these are incidental to work. Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95% anti stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti- stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982-:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and nothing extra shall be payable . The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE –in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results a be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing and laying 30 mm compacted thickness of Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 80-100 TPH Batch Type Hot Mix Plant with bituminous binder Grade Vg-40 @ 5.4% (minimum by weight of total mix with proper arrangement, , transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory or with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPa and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification (Vth revision)-2013 Clause No. 507 complete in all respect . If bitumen required is more than 5.4% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, Extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note :- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. Providing and laying 25 mm thick mastic asphalt wearing course with paving grade bitumen meeting the requirements given in table 500-39,500.40 prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope after cleaning the surface, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated finegrained hard stone chipping of 13.2 mm nominal size at the rate of 0.005cum per 10 sqm and at an approximate spacing of 10 cm center to center in both directions, pressed into surface when the temperature of surfaces is not less than 1000C, protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, all complete as per clause 516 of MORT&H specification (Vth revision)/2013 complete in all respect .

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads . the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufacturing date of the material to be used.

Dismantling cement conrete plain 1:2:4 (HSR 8.6 d) and disposal of waste material with all lead and lift as desired by Engineer in Charge.

Note :- In Case of any difference in the unit and nominclaturre of any of the HSR/MORT&H items of civil work depicted in this DNIT and that given in HSR , the unit and nominclature given in HSR shall be applicable.
