UPGRADATION OF LT CABLE, ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED WORKS AT MD ACCN AT N1 AREA AT AFS KANPUR

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n.exc. 1.5 m deep for foundation of poles/stay/cable etc including getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and filling fine ganga sand to the full width of trench for cushioning of cable for cable protection including spreading and punning down complete all as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness of sand after laying shall be measured for payment purpose.

M&L foe ell burnt old size bricks, sub class B brick laid dry flat with width equal to length of whole brick, as cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n.exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete etc all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeking 25 cm in soft & loose soil complete etc all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete (1: 2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregates ) as in stay filling or pole coping etc including necessary form work for rough finished surfaces complete all specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of GI tubing light grade 50mm dia with all fittings laid in trenches/fixed on wall/ceiling including dismantling of old pipe etc all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of GI tubing light grade 80mm dia with all fittings laid in trenches/fixed on wall/ceiling including dismantling of old pipe etc all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of PCC/Hard standing /WBM road not exceeding 30cm in width and not exceeding 60 cm in depth for passing of LT cable and making good of disturbed surface to make with the existing surfaces by using old and new material upto 15cm in depth and providing 15cm thick PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate finished fair and even complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making horizantal boring 60cm deep below road crossing for passing of LT cable in suitable size GI pipe complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

Supply and lay testing and commissioning of cable XLPE Insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded Aluminium conductor of size 35 sqmm 3.5 core. laid in trench/ duct / along pole/wall etc including suitable size lugs, glands,Nut, bolts, washers & insulation tape etc making connection complete incl taking out ot old unsericeable/damaged cable complete etc all as specified directed. Note : The cost of thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is incl in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for it.

Supply, installation, comissioning and teasting in replacement of out door type LT panel of approved make, CPRI approved, make, fabricated out of 3.15mm thick CRCA steel sheet powder coated, double door with and incl MS angle iron (40x40x6mm) base frame, cubical type mounted, dust and vermin proof, both side open and locking arrangement, danger board plate,Cable gand, bottom with detachable plates, front and rear with hinged type door and locking arrangements, chamber for cable entry and exit,chamber for aluminium bus bars including aluminium busbars 4 Nos,240 Amp on phase & neutral, 415 volts, properly insulated aluminium bus bar capacity insulated with colored PVC sleeves mounted on suitable insulators and separators, holes drilled for connections including panel shall be mounted on brick work plate from of size 250x400x600mm in two nmber duly plasterd and PCC coping work om top surface height shall be .6. mtr above the GL and 0.40 mtr all aroung the FPB complete all as specified and comprising of the followings:-

Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 25×4mm means of bolts, nuts check nut & washers of galvanised iron or steel & connected to main switch including complete excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 meters, PCC Chamber (1:3:6) type C-2 precast RCC cover with frame, funnel wire mesh, 20mm bore light grade galvanised iron or steel pipe for water, charcoal or coke and salt in alternative layers of 15cm compacted thickness all round the earth electrode complete alll as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I including welding with suitble electrode and testing complete all as directed. NOTE :- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrodeto test point upto length of 7.5 mtrs length shall deem to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) M&L Tubing GI med grade 40mm dia for protection of earthing strip and passing the Road/passes and etc.shall deem to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item.
