MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF EOT CRANES AND HOIST INSTALLED AT 505 ABW UNDER GE (U) P AND M DELHI CANTT - 10

1.Preventive maintenance and repair by technically qualified technician and rendering operationally of EOT crane/Hoist complete including checking / tightening of all nut , bolt & breaks any type any size complete system, adjusting etc of all breaks motions and VFD /VVVF drive adjustment setting of EOT / HOT cranes with having single or double girder type and providing greasing & oiling of traveling / moving parts of crane with connecting motor girder parts for movement of crane hoist / long / cross traveling and including maintaining the controlling of speed / creeping micro speed of motors with minor maint / repair electrically operated main control panel wire with connecting control wiring system consisting of main switch, step down transformer, contactor, HRC fuse, VFD, PLR, control pendent ,wire rope with break drum unit, gear box unit , oil levels, motor bed / foot ,electrical control cable, motor terminal, end cable carriage trolly , motor shaft, bush flange bearing with lathe work ,chain pulley block, ratchet clutch, gear block, chain wheel, chain etc and including locating the defect or fault and rectification of the fault and rectification of oil leakage etc any type any size and replacement of defected nut, bolt & washer and making it soundless/sound proof and after trails testing run of crane for smooth functioning / operation satisfactorily for the following mentioned capacity cranes/Hoist complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Details of Cranes are under mentioned located at 505ABW (a) EOT crane of 50 Ton (Make of Cranex Ltd.) - 01 No (b) EOT crane of 45 Ton (Make of Rockwell Hoist) - 01 No (c) EOT crane of 20 Ton (Make of Cranex Ltd.) - 01 No (d) EOT crane of 20/05 (Make of Cranex Ltd.) - 01 No (e) EOT crane of 10 Ton (Make of Cranex Ltd.) - 01 N0 (f) EOT crane of 05 Ton (Make of Cranex Ltd.-07, Tojyam Steel-02 Nos, Grip Engineers) 10 Nos. (g) EOT crane of 03 Ton (Make of Dinesh Enterprises - 02 Nos, USGC-01No)-03 Nos (h) EOT crane of 02 Ton (Make of Cranex Ltd.-12 Nos, Grip Enterprises-01 No) - 13 Nos. 1. Notes for item No 01 :-The including the properly checks as mentioned as following:- (i) LT AND CT MOTION :- (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Note: Brake Oil shall be included in quoted rate by the contractor) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of long travel & cross travel wheel for any noise/malfunctioning. (d) Checking grease of geared couplings, complete nut, bolt work for tightening and replacement of grease nipple. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: Brake Oil shall be included in quoted rate by the contractor) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value etc (g) Checking the cut-off at extreme ends with the limit switch. (j) Checking and greasing of shaft pedestal. (ii) HOIST MOTION:- (a) Checking gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be included in quoted rate by the contractor) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of main bearings of the rope drum including greasing the same (d) Checking grease of geared couplings and nut tightening.

(e) Checking of oil in hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.( (Note: Brake Oil shall be included in quoted rate by the contractor) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value. (g) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope. (h) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of bearing of the hook and greasing the same. (iii) ELECTRICAL PANEL (a) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (b) General checking of contacts and connections. (c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections. (d) Checking of connections of VVVF drives/other drive, calibrating VVVF drive and PLC to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same. (e) checking the serviceability of bus bar of travelling cranes ,cable including power/control cable, (f) Cleaning of the moving/sliding objects. (g) Checking function ability of motion push buttons, function lock key operated switch, "ON &OFF" , lamps. (iv) Maintenance and Servicing of Cranes/Hoist complete adjusting and testing run work will be carried out by well qualified technician having good experience in the repairing field of EOT / HOT cranes or as approved by GE or Engineer-in-Charge (v)It is responsibilityof contractor for maintenance and repair of cranefor 02 month after the handing / taking over the site without any extra cost to department. And also included the consumable items i.e Push button for pendent, nuts& bolts, wiring, lubrication oils for gearbox (LT/CT/Hoist) & thruster brake oil of Cranes. (vi) Contractor shall immediately depute suitable Nos of technician/trade men which is experience of Crane operations and to attend the complaints on required basis forcranes /hoist found unserviceable within the effected time after complaint by Engineer-in-charge and rectify the same all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (vii) Repair/Replacement MajorParts of Cranes/ Hoist shall be measured and paid separately.
