MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT (PHASE-II)

Maintenance and Operation of Effluent Treatment Plant including cost of testing and cost of consumables (hypochlorite solution, Polyelectrolite, PAC for primary treatment, Gear Oil for airblower, Greasing Lubricants, glands, spare parts etc) as required except "electricity and diesel" complete all as specified and as directed for eleven months after the next day of actual date of completion of Phase-I in three shifts with one operator (skilled) and one helper (un-skilled) per shift a day including Sunday & holiday (each shift 8 hrs). NOTE :- (i) Maintenance and operation of plants is to be done in three shifts a day including Sundays and holiday. In case the operators is found absent in any of the shifts and plant is not run in any shift a penalty @ Rs. 600.00 per shift will be imposed on the contractor and will be deducted from his next immediate dues. (ii) Quality testing of effluent has to be got done from NABL accredited lab and results to be kept on record as per interval as direct and rate quoted are deemed to be inclusive of any such test charges. (iii) The cost of removal of treated sludge and disposal of the same outside MoD land as per local civil authorities laid down rules is also deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. The amount of credit of treated sludge (if any) shall be deemed to be considered by the contractor while quoting rate for maintenance and operation. (iv) Contractor shall employ one operator and one helper in each shift. (v) Operators employed shall be ITI passed and have experience of minimum 02 years to operate ETP and as specified.
