REPAIRS TO ROOF TREATMENT IN CERTAIN BUILDING OF WATER SUPPLY SUB STATION FOR AGE-I AREA UNDER AGE(I)(U) B/R DELHI CANTT-10

Dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles single layer on roof at any position or any height, including cleaning serviceable tile and stacking properly for reuse, disposal of unserviceable tiles and debris away from site complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud phuska in roof slab, any thickness including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) and mud removing to outside of defence land etc cleaning of roof surfaces complete all as specified and directed.( No mud stacking shall be allowed at site, immediately remove from site.)

M&L 40mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded aggregate) finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement in roof padding of any position of any height complete all as specified.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of industrial bitumen 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sq.m including cleaning base surfaces complete all as per specified and directed.

M&L for APP based polymeric membrane 3mm thickness and weighing not less than 3.0 Kg/sqm water proofing membrane reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (wt. not less than 150gm/Sqm) land on primered surface by forced application with side overlap of 75mm and 100mm on longitudinally complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- (a) The rate of necessary scaffolding wherever reqd, gas & other arrangements shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of item. (b) Each step must be approved by Engr in Charge before proceeding to next step complete all as specified and directed).( c) Ponding test shall be carried out by contractor.

M&L for 40mm thick brick tiles are bedded in 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 jointed grouted and pointed flush in cement mortar 1:3 mixed with 5% crude by weight of cement complete all as specified & directed.

- ditto - all as per item No. 06 above but except tiles (old serviceable dismantled tiles obtained from Srl item No. 01 shall be reused after necessary cleaning of mortar)

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (20mm graded stone aggregate) in roof ,kerb,mud slope rounder or chamfered on edges coping kerb water tough and like incl weathering ,slightly roundered or chamfered angles and throating directed incl necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cast iron/ PVC pipe of any size of any description with fittings complete all as specifed and directed.

S&F of 110mm bore PVC (SWR) 2pipes single socketed pressure rating @4Kg/Sq cm length "medium grade " with rubber ring joint, fixed to walls with MS clamps complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F of 110mm bore PVC bends/junction any radius complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class’B’ bricks straight or curved on plan to any radious in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified & directed.

Taking down cement plaster, any description from brick or stone walls etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, inclu taking down roots of trees complete etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair surfaces of brick work or concrete surfaces with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. (Note : WPC shall be included in the quoted rate)

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall & applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer (chalk whiting ) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
