REPAIR/MAINT OF CERTAIN ROAD INCLUDING ROAD FURNITURE AT NEW CANTT UNDER GE GANGTOK

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm, depth exceeding 50mm and not exceeding 100mm deep and segregation materials stacking for reuse and remove from the site of work complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 7.5 cm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM with Limestone, sand stone, Flint or Quartzite, coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required using 8-12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 2.00 above but except materials.

M&L premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8-12 ton power road roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L preparing unsurfaced/new water bound macadam(WBM) surfaces by brushing with Wire Brushes for removing Caked, Mud, etc., Sweeping with Brooms and finally Fanning the Cleaned Surface with Gunny Bags to remove all loose dirts, etc. and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) @ 10kg per 10sqm over WBM surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top road surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweepijng with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly priming/tack coat on black top surfaces with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5.00Kg/10Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 30 mm thick consolidated thickness bituminous premixed carpet with 0.405 cum per 10 Sqm of stone chipping & mixed with 21.90 kg per 10 sqm of binder (paving bitumen VG-30) laid and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for liquid seal coat by applying paving bitumen of grade 30 (VG-30) @ 9.8 kg per 10 Sqm blinded with 6.3 mm size stone chipping @ 0.09 cum per 10 Sqm & rolled to a uniformed smooth surface by 8 to 12 tonne power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying retroreflected thermoplastic road marking paint upto 10cm wide in road edges with 3.00 mm thickness, applied using mechanically propelled vehicle consisting heated hopper mounted on a pram, which feeds hot molten thermoplastic under gravity to a retangular screed with a gate at the base whose opening is set to produce the thickness specified complete and as directed.

S&F for solar delineator (size: 1000x47mm) made up of polycarbonate and toughened aluminium alloy body height 145 cm, dia 80mm comprises 4 No super bright LEDs which gives 360 degree viewing, solar panel-2.05 volt, 120mm (approx), 1.25 volts rechargeable battery-01 No embeded in PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate (size of block 30cm x 30cm x 30cm) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for solar road stud 125 x 125 x 25 mm (shank 60 mm) with high efficiency mono crystal solar panel 2.4 V/ 0.3 watt with six super bright LEDs and one NiMh or Ni-Cd rechargeable battery (1.2 V/ 1600 MA) complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drain including forming fair finished to drain channel complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) including Neeru finish to plastering complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1, (using 20 mm graded aggregate) as in coping /parepet wall/bed plate /Kerb stone etc with plain fair faces including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Note 3:-The contract sum shall be arrived at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quoted amount.
