REPAIR / RESURFACING OF ROADS, ROAD FURNITURE AND APPLYING COLD EMULSION IN PARADE GROUND AT TECH / ADM AREA AT AFA HYDERABAD

Repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 Sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads paths,etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) depth of potholes n exc 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Surface dressing n.exc 15cm deep in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping ith brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc over black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC) 30mm (consolidated thickness) in single layer using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% minimum binder content mixed by weight of total mix as wearing course, using hot mix plant and laid by using mechanical sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. (Note: No Extra payment shall be paid to the contractor for more quantity of bitumen than mentioned in Sch 'A'.)

S&F in repairs raised reflective pavement marker (Cat eyes) made of plastic body moulded from HIPS (Hi- impact polystrene) or ABS plastic conforming to ASTM D type 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A and reflective panels consisting of number of lenses containing single or dual prismatic cubes capable for providing total interal reflection light entering the lens face, with height not exceeding 20mm and length and width 100mm (not exceeding surface shall be 130mm) and the area of each retro-reflecting surface shall be 13 Sqmcm on each face and shall preferably be 35 +_ 5 degree slope to base to face, fixed as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed. M&L for preparation of new existing concerete/bituminous surfaces of roads, runways, pavements and like not exceeding 10cm width and machine painting with 1.5mm thick thermo plastic road marking paint as lines dashes, letters arrowas etc of tint white/golden yellows etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Applying evenly fog seal spray using Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (SS-1) conforming to IS 8887-2004 at the rate of 5 to 10 Ltr per 10 Sqm with using equipment such as pressure tank , flexible hose and spray bar or lance as specified in clause No 513 of MORTH specifications complete all as specified and as directed

M & L 50 mm thick (consolidated thickness) premix Bituminous Macadam using min 4.0 % VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix, aggregate laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 50mm) using paving bitumen complete all as specified and as directed.
