Restoration and recoupment of breach like damage of road cum bund by flooding of river Brahmaputra on L/B at Fakirganj area under SOPD (FDR).

Earth work in embankment by truck carriage in ordinary/normal soil excluding sandy and rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22cm. thick including ploughing or roughening or benching the seats, removing all debries, breaking clods up to 2.5cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted on account of shrinkage) (For initial lead beyond ½ Km and up to 4.00 Km and for all lifts).

Compacting Original Ground: (i) Compacting original ground supporting embankment Lossening, Levelling, and compacting original ground supporting embankment to facilitate placement of first layer of embankment , scarified to a depth of 150mm, mixed with water at OMC and then compacted by rolling so as to achieve minimum dry density as given in tables 300.1 and 300.2 for embankment construction as per technical specification clause 301.4.1.

Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary, etc. complete as directed. (Oridinary Soil)

Turfing with grass sods of largest possible rectangle of 12cm minimum thickness placed closely including dressing earth pegging with jati bamboo split, watering till the Grass grows for a lead up to 90m and all lifts.

Collection and supply of sand gravel from approved quarry containing 60% sand & 40% gravel free from disintegrated and flaky pieces of vegetation and other deleterious matters adherent coating etc. including stacking in suitable stacks at quarry site and payment of forest royalty complete as directed.

Labour charge for laying of soling stone, brick bats , broken stone metal, sand gravel etc. on approach road including ramming, dressing the seat and local carriage of materials upto a distance of 60 m complete as directed.

Construction of whole bamboo single pallasiding with matured Jati Bamboo stacks 7.5cm to 10cm dia 15 cm clear apart driven1.20m to 1.50m above ground and 1.00m to1.20m below ground with Jati bamboo inclined struts fixed at 1.20m to 1.50m apart tied with three rows of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies with cane wire of 16G to 18G etc. complete as directed (using Bhaluka bamboo at the rate of 8.57 nos /Rm & Jati bamboo at the rate of 2.40nos/Rm).

Supply of serviceable empty cement bags.

Labour charge for laying and pitching earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods filling in bags and supply and stitching the mouth with jute sutli etc. complete as directed. (cement bag will be supplied by the Deptt. free of cost). for borrowing earth from a distance upto 30 M

Supply of pre stressed Cement Concrete (PSC) Porcupine members of size 0.10m x 0.10m x 3.00m with M -40 grade of cement concrete with graded broken course aggregates up to 12mm size down and reinforced with 4 Nos.of 4 mm dia high tensile steel wire cable at four corners with necessary cover and 4mm high tensile stirrups at 250 mm C/C. in conformity with IS -6403 and stressed to required strength not exceeding 9.18 N/mm. holes of 16 mm dia at 50 cm inside from both ends in the same face and in either face of post another 2 nos of holes of size 16 mm dia at 65 mm inside from both ends including properly curing for 14 (fourteen) days and carriage of porcupine members from factory to the stack yard within a distance upto 100 km complete as directed NOTE . Consider sand = 0.0135 cum/ member, stone aggregate of size 20mm = 0.0163 cum/member & stone aggregate of size 10mm =0.0108 cum/ member while calculating deduction of Forest Royalty.

Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section/slope Including removing the soils at a safe distance, complete as directed.

Labour charge of launching of R.C.C./PSC Porcupine including carriage of RCC/PSC porcupine members of size 0.10m x0.10m x3.00m from the stack yard to the place of launching, erection of the porcupine wit 6 (six) members properly, supply & fitting / fixing with 12 mm dia 25 Cm long M.S. Nuts and bolts and launching the porcupine properly as directed . (Lead up to 150 m). i) Launching without Boat

Construction of whole Bholuka bamboo screen with matured Bholuka Bamboo stacks 75mm to 100 mm dia placed at 30mm clear apart i.e. 40 cm C/C) driven 4.00m to 4.50m below ground and 3.0m to 3.50m above ground with hydralic driving equipments including hire charge of equipment cost of P.O.L. etc. and providing with 1 (one) row of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies bed with galvanized wire of 16 G to 18 G etc.complete as directed (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 240.00nos RM & Jat Bamboo at the rate of 9.60 Nos. / Rm).

Hire charge of engine boat with minimum 10 HP engine and load capacity of not less than 3.00 ton along with operator and helpers excluding cost of POL .
