Directions to Tenderer for filling in the Rates 1. The Lump sum amount should be worked out carefully, having regard to Conditions of Contract, specifications, Drawings etc. 2. The Lump sum amount worked out by the Tenderer is to be duly filled up in the Financial Bid. 3. The Lump sum quoted by the Tenderer shall hold for all the scope of work mentioned in the tender document. 4. The Lump sum price should be legibly written in figures as well as in words in the space provided for. In case of discrepancy, the Lump sum price mentioned in words shall prevail. 5. Erasures or corrections in figures, without tenderer's initial, will render the tender liable to rejection. 6. Goods and Service Tax (GST) as applicable shall be reimbursed to the contractor through the interim bills. However, the taxes like Income Tax etc. will be deducted at source as applicable as per prevailing rules and regulations. 7. In case the price is not given by a bidder, his bid shall be treated as non-responsive. Preamble to Financial Bid 1. General Instructions: 1.1. The Financial bid must be read with the Drawings, Conditions of Contract and the Specifications and all relevant standards. The Contractor shall be deemed to have examined the scope of work, site conditions, typical Drawings, Conditions of Contract and the Specifications and have acquainted himself with all the details of the work to be done and the way the works are to be carried out. 1.2. The tenderer will quote LUMPSUM RATE TENDER FOR DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND OPERATION OF 01 NO. OF 20 KLD AND 01 NO. OF 10 KLD CAPACITY SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT ON ADVANCED MBBR TECHNOLOGY WITH PVA GEL MEDIA, AT KAMARAJAR PORT LIMITED. The lumpsum price shall cover the cost of provision of plant and equipment, materials, labour, execution, supervision, maintenance, overheads and profits and every incidental and contingent cost and charges whatsoever excluding GST as applicable as per govt. notification for proper execution, completion and maintenance of the works. No claim for any additional amount over and above the lump sum price quoted by the contractor on any account will be entertained. 1.3. The KPL will deduct from contractor’s bills, the Income Tax etc. at source as applicable as per prevailing rules and regulations. 2. The Contractor shall be deemed to have visited the site and to have examined for himself the conditions under which the works will proceed and all other matters affecting the carrying out of the work and cost thereof. 3. In the event of non-availability of specification for any of the items in the technical specification, relevant IS Specification as applicable shall be followed. 4. Goods and Service Tax (GST) as applicable shall be reimbursed to the contractor through the interim bills. However, the taxes like Income Tax etc. will be deducted at source as applicable as per prevailing rules and regulations.
