Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned up to a lead of 1000 meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness if required and as per relevant clauses of section-200. Flexible Median Marker Supply and Fixing of Flexible Median Marker made of tough, high impact resistant, injection-moulded, thermoplastic body with property of flexibility to provide high durability and U shape structure having rebound/bounce back property the marker body shall be neutral black in colour and the retro reflective element shall be fluorescent yellow colour with sheeting confirming to Type-XI as per IRC:67-2022. The reflective area shall not be less than 90 cm2. It shall have a minimum height of 180mm width 120mm and body thickness 6.5mm and Shank length shall not be less than 30mm and dia not less than 20mm. The exposed body structure should be cornered rounded for better aesthetics. It shall bounce back to original position after 750 numbers of hits using pendulum of 1.8 kg conforming to ASTM D 256 and shall have Adhesion between the body and outer casing body of FMM shall withstands Kgf tensile loads conforming to ASTM D 638 method. It shall be fixed by drilling and grouting with the use of epoxy adhesive as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 Kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 type H and complying to specifications of category A of MORT&H(RW/NH-33023/ 10/97-DO III Dtd. 11.06.1997). The pavement markers will be auto moulded by dual polymer shanks and must comply with all the MoRT&H specifications. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm respectively and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sq.cm, on each side and slope to the base shall be 35 +/-5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive and complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.
