Supplying and lowering of IS marked Electric Resistance Welded M.S.slotted Pipe 300mm dia nominal size housing, 8 mm thick having outside dia metre 323.90mm butt welding and are of bevel ended comforming to IS 4270-2001 with up to date amendment (in any) about 4 metres to 7 metres in length should have 1200 slot per meter of size 1.00mm, as per IS 8110-1978 with upto date ammendments(if any) and material in all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Lowering at site electric resistance welded(ERW) Stainless Steel Cage type "V" wire wound screens of size 300 mm 8.00 mm thick with slot opening 1.0mm as per 8110-2000 with upto date amendments(if any) and material specifications as per AISI "American Iron and Steel Inst" Type Grade SS-304 in suitable lengths as per the site conditions, including the cost of SS socket 8mm thick(supplied by the Department) of length 140mm confirming to AISI grade 304 suitable to accomodate screen end ring including jointing screen with blind pipes including cost of all scaffolding derricks, poles, clamps embedded in foundation etc.including cost of all cutting threading and welding of pipes etc.within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the engineer-in-charge. Screen will be of continuous trapezoidal wire spirally wound around fabricated cage. The wrapping wire having a "V" shaped(Wedge) profile wire with flat surface on the outside and producing expanding slots on the inside of various dimensions, resistance welded to a cylindrical body made of number of longitudinal special high tensile support rods to provide smooth unrestricted bore which are in turn welded into cylindrical ring couplings on both sides of screens.

Providing and fixing M.S.taper/reducer as per lengths approved by Engineer-in-Charge, the material of M.S.taper/reducer shall be equivalent to parent pipe material and shall conform to chemical composition as per clause 5.2 and mechanical properties as per clause 6.1 and table 1 of IS 4270:2001 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying, lowering and fixing in position IS marked mild steel bail plug of 200mm/300mm dia meter with "U" hooks as per IS 2800-1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts complete in all respect as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing in position threaded iron cap with locking arrangments of approved design to prevent foreign matter from getting into bore hole as required within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying and packing of gravel consisting of hard quartz or other suitable material with an average specific gravity of not less than 2.5 not containing more than 2% by weight of thin flat or or elangated pieces, shall be of sub rounded to rounded grains with minimum angular features of size 2--3.35 mm, shall be free from impurities such as shafe, shale, mica, felspar, clay, sand, hamatite and organic materials as per IS-4097-1967 with upto date amendments(if any), around intake of tubewell with minimum thickness of shroud around screen generally 100mm to the entire depth of the bore as per IS 2800(Part-I) 1991 with upto date amendments(if any) within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Development of tubewell by back washing method, with air compressor of minimum 750 CFM capacity, pumping pipe of 200mm size and air line of minimum 65mm size or with other suitable method, till the well is thoroughly developed as per clause 4.2 of IS 11189:1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Development of tubewell by continuous over pumping method with VT pumps/submersible pumps of suitable capacity not less than double the discharge established by the Compressor method/design discharge, untill the well is sand free as per IS-11189-1985 with upto date amendments(if any) complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The draw down and discharge to be established by running the VT/submersible pump continuously for 8 hours in the presence of Officer not less than the rank of Assistant Engineer.

Testing the verticality of the tubewell as per clause 4.3 of OS 2800(Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any), using plumb bob or plunger 6mm smaller in dia within the inside diameter of the well casing. The results of the verticality test shall be recorded on proforma shown in Appendix A of IS:2800(Part-II_:1979 with upto date amendments(if any) as appended with the tender documents and handed over complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer- in-Charge.

Dismantling of Rig or other allied accessories after completion of job within all leads and lifts complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Handing over of the tubewelll in complete shape as per appendix B of the clause 7 of IS 2800 (Part-II):1979 with upto date amendments(if any)l, as appended with the tender document, in laminated form, in triplicate complete in all respects as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Laying and Joiting of Ductile Iron pipe (K7), Main & Distribution Pipe line.: Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. But not exceeding 300 mm dia. [ For 100 mm Dia=9850 Mtr. , For 150 mm Dia= 2850 Mtr, For 200 mm Dia= 5620 Mtr. & For 250 mm Dia.= 45 Mtr. ]

Elevated Service Rasevoire & Ground Service Reservoire: Designing (structurally & aesthetically), and constructing RCC elevated service reservoirs of 10,00,000 Lakh Lit. capacity, with RCC staging 20 Mtr. consisting of columns, internal and external bracings spaced vertically as per staging of the Elevated Service Reservoire, including excavation in all types of strata, foundation concrete, cement plaster with water proofing compound to the inside face of the container including refilling & disposing off the surplus stuff within a lead of 50 meters, all labour and material charges including lowering, laying, erecting,hoisting and jointing of pipe assembly of inlet, outlet, scour, overflow and bypass arrangements as per design, providing and fixing accessories such as Stainless steel Ladder inside and MS ladder with GI railing outside, C.I. manhole frame and covers, water level indicators, lightening conductor, G.I. pipe railing around walk way and top slab, providing staircase from ground level to roof level, M.S. grill gate of 2 mtr. height with locking arrangement of approved design , Brick masonry chambers for all valves, entilating shafts, providing and applying three coats of cement paint to the structure including roof slab, epoxy painting to internal surface & anti termite treatment for underground parts of the structure and giving satisfactory water tightness test as per I.S. code, The design will be provided by the contractor duly approved from the NIT or approved Govt. agency.

The cost may change as per site condition looking to the uplift and type of strata .

The design of the structure be in accordance with relevant (I.S. 3370 - 1965 or revised)

The design shall satisfy the stipulations as per IS 1893-1984 and I.S. 13920/1993 for seismic force and I.S. 11682/1985 for R.C.C. staging of overhead tanks.

For design having more than 6 columns, provision of internal bracing is obligatory. External bracing is also obligatory.

The entire structure shall be in M-30 mix only.

Round mild steel bars grade - 1 Conforming to I.S. 432 part-I or high yield strength deformed bars Conforming to I.S. 1786 shall be used, grade-II mild steel bars will not be allowed.

Irrespective of the type of foundation proposed in the design, one set of bracing be provided at the ground level.

These rates includes providing M.S. ladder for E.S.R.'s upto 2 lakh litres capacity and providing spiral staircase for E.S.R. above 2 lakh litres capacity.

Staging shall have to be designed with stresses of M-25 for E.S.R. However all RCC construction should be done in M-30.

These rates are including the cost of uplift pressure if any and entire dewatering during execution. In case of water logging area where water is struck at shallow depth, extra provision of dewatering shall be made as per site conditions.

The rates indicated in the table are including the cost of pipes, specials and valves required for inlet, outlet, washout, overflow and by-pass arrangement. The scope of work, however and includes cost of erecting, laying and jointing of pipes and valves including cost of jointing materials upto 5 m beyond outer face of outermost column.

For ESR upto 500 Cum capacity , M.S. with epoxy or DI with CM lining double flanged pipes upto 300 mm dia shall be provided and DI specials shall be used.

For ESR above 500 Cum capacity, M.S. with epoxy or DI with CM lining pipe assembly with minimum 8 m.m. thickness up to 500 mm dia and minimum 10 mm thickness above 500 mm dia can be used with proper anticorrosive epoxy treatment from inside and outside.

The rates are applicable for staging height of 10 m. These rates shall be increased or decreased for per metre variation in this staging height as below.
