SPECIAL REPAIRS TO ROADS LEADING TO PARKING AREAS FOR PARADE AND LIVING ACCN FOR PARADE CONTINGENTS UNDER GE CENTRAL KHADKI

Repairs to potholes and depth, not exc 1Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads,paths,etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous emulsion RS-1 @ 5kg /10sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg /10Sqm,blinded with 0.09Cum of stone chippings,6.3mm size and well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping)depth of potholes exc 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400sqm ,exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer Emulsion RS-1 at 10kg /10 sqm with sprayer over existing surface etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM,with Granite, trap or basalt stone coarse aggregates of grading 2(63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50mm to 20 mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber all as specified & directed

M & L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder of VG-30 (Paving bitumen) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber(consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified & directed, Duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved mix design in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with Price adjustment on MINUS side only @ Rs 50612/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side. .

M & L Preparing Black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc

M&L for applying a priming/tack coat with bituminous emultion RS-1 at 5Kg/10Sqm with sprayer over existing surface etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense 30 mm consolidated using paving bitumen VG-30 with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, dully rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note :- The contractor quoted rate shall deemed to include the following elements:- (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through Govt approved lab and shall get the same approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) Contractor shall submit the authenticated weigh batch receipt for every load of materials brought at site. (iii) Cement (OPC) approved by the Engr-in-charge shall be used as filler materials.

(v) The cost of design mix charges shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. (vi) In addition to the rolling specified here-in-before, rolling with pneumatic roller for 4 hours/day shall be done at interval of 04 days for minimum one month after the certified completion date. The final bill shall be released after additional rolling. The cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted. (vii) The actual binder content for SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on job mix formal approved by GE irrespective of whatever indicated in BOQ. Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs 50612/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (vii) No price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

Including excavation of post holes of size 250x250x500mm in soft / loose soil and fixed in PCC M-10 grade(Nominal Mix) using 20mm graded stone aggregate ,including returning filling and removal of soil to distance n.exc 50m complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Material and labour for applying two coats of retro- reflective thermoplastic painting lines, dashes, arrows, letter etc on road,pavements,kerb stones and having width of 10 cm and thickness 2 mm with road marking paint, white or golden yellow including cleaning and preparation or existing surface or on new surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge..
