| 1(i) Wheelhouse Hydraulic Remote Propulsion (HRP) Control Unit Indicator Light found malfunctioning. (ii) Rudder Angle Indicator (RAI) found displaying erroneous readings. (iii) Starboard Side Propeller RPM Indicator in the wheelhouse found non-functional. (iv) Starboard Side Main Engine RPM Indicator in the wheelhouse found non-functional. (v) The above defects shall be attended by carrying out complete inspection, fault diagnosis, dismantling, repair/renewal, calibration, reassembly, testing and commissioning of the respective equipment, including associated sensors/transmitters, indicator gauges, wiring, terminals, connectors, switches, fuses, control panels, signal transmission circuits and all allied electrical/electronic components. Complete wheelhouse's instrumentation, gauges, meters, indicating lamps, annunciators, switches, push buttons, wiring, terminals, connectors, control panels or associated electrical/electronic components to be test/check; if found defective, malfunctioning or non-operational, the same also be rectified, repaired or replaced. The entire wheelhouse monitoring, indication and control system shall be tested, calibrated (where applicable), synchronized with the respective propulsion and steering systems, and commissioned to ensure accurate, reliable and trouble-free operation, complete in all respects, as required and as directed by the EIC/Surveyor. | |||||

| 2Rectification of water leakage through the wheelhouse searchlight foundation by identifying the source of ingress and carrying out dismantling (wherever required), surface preparation, repair/replacement of defective foundation components, renewal of sealing/gasket materials, application of approved marine-grade waterproof sealant and corrosion-resistant sealing compounds, re-tightening/alignment of foundation fasteners, and restoration of the watertight integrity of the searchlight foundation assembly. The work shall include leak testing under simulated water spray/rain conditions after completion to ensure complete prevention of water ingress into the wheelhouse, as required and as directed by the EIC/Surveyor. | |||||

| 3Repair/renewal of damaged web frames (08 Nos.) in the cargo hold area and rectification of dented side shell steel fender at various locations. The work shall include identification and marking of damaged portions, cropping/removal of distorted and deteriorated structural members, fabrication and renewal of web frames using MS plates/flat bars conforming to the original scantlings (thickness, profile and grade matching the existing structure), and renewal/repair of the side shell steel fender using MS pipe of the same size, wall thickness and specification as the existing. The work shall further include edge preparation, fit-up, alignment, welding by approved welding procedures, grinding, dressing of welds, dimensional checking, restoration of structural continuity, application of marine-grade anti-corrosive coating on repaired surfaces, and completion of all associated works. The repaired structure shall be free from distortion and shall ensure the original strength and integrity of the hull structure, complete in all respects, as required and as directed by the EIC/Surveyor. | |||||

| 4(i) Wheelhouse control panel/bridge console laminate (Sunmica) found damaged and deteriorated. (ii) Three (03) Nos. bathroom doors found damaged, including defective door locks, hinges and associated hardware. (iii) Locking arrangements of twenty-four (24) Nos. crew almirahs and drawers found damaged/non-functional. (iv) Cotton curtains for all wheelhouse, accommodation and sanitary space doors/windows to be provided. (v) Mosquito prevention arrangements for all windows, including mosquito mesh/magnetic strip assemblies, to be provided. (vi) The above defects shall be attended by carrying out complete dismantling, removal of damaged materials, fabrication, repair, renewal, supply, installation, fitment, alignment, finishing, testing and commissioning, as applicable. The work shall include renewal of wheelhouse control panel/bridge console laminate (Sunmica) with approved marine-grade decorative laminate of suitable thickness, ensuring proper refitting and functioning of all controllers, switches, gauges, indicators, alarm lamps and allied accessories; renewal of bathroom doors complete with marine-grade waterproof ply/wood or equivalent approved material, including door frames (where required), locks, hinges, handles, stoppers and all associated fittings; renewal of locking arrangements for crew almirahs and drawers with heavy-duty locks, latches, handles and hardware; supply and installation of cotton curtains complete with curtain rods/tracks, brackets, hooks, runners, fasteners and all allied accessories; and supply and installation of mosquito-proof mesh with magnetic strip/frame arrangements for all windows and doors, complete with fixtures and fastening accessories. Any other carpentry, joinery, woodwork, marine plywood, Sunmica/laminate, furniture, partition, panelling, cabinetry or allied accommodation works found damaged, deteriorated or necessary for proper restoration in entire vessel shall also be repaired, renewed or replaced. The entire work shall be completed with proper finishing, alignment, smooth operation and workmanship, as required and as directed by the EIC/Surveyor. | |||||
