Rehabilitation and Improvements of Lower Bhavani (Bhavanisagar) Dam in Sathyamangalam Taluk of Erode District Under DRIP -II (Hydro Mechanical Works)

Design, Fabricating, supplying and erection of Roof shed in top of the deck bridge of the spillway portion (123m x 4.20m). This including semi circular steel truss using outer frame of 75x75x4 mm sq .tube (top - 4.70m) and bottom steel truss of 75x75x4mm sq .tube (length =4.20m). The above truss members are supported by vertical 40x40x4mm sq. tube of 600mm length. The Pre painted Alu.Zinc Steel (Galvalume) roofing sheets (0.45 to 0.47mm thickness) on top of the shed of size about 4.90x1.00m is placed with the help of 1.5 inches self screws (high performance). The proposed column of IS MC150mm channel of 3000mm length. The purlin holding truss members of IS MC 150 channel of 6.00m length. The entire assembly including the cost of gilt angle, bolt and nuts, washer, gas cylinder oxygen and Acetylene, etc. All steel members are painted with two coats of approved enamel color paint over the red oxide primer as directed by the departmental officers. The rate inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges, transport, taxes, erection, conveyance charges, to & fro from the site of work, hire charges for machinery, consumables, etc. Complete complying with standard specifications.

Fabricating, supplying and erection of Mild steel Chequered plate of 8mm thick for Sluice vent top portion (Resting in the top of the dam) with all outer side fixed with steel ISA angle 65x65x6mm for flat surface and second layer of sloped portion, equally divided in to several part as per drawing with outer size of 4.75mx1.37m. All steel members are painted with two coats of approved first quality of anti corrosive Black paint over the red oxide primer one coat is applied as directed by the departmental officers. The steel members should be weighed, fixed as directed by the departmental officers. The rate inclusive of cost of materials, labour charges, transport, taxes, erection, conveyance charges, to & fro from the site of work, hire charges for machinery, consumables. etc. Complete complying with standard specifications.

Manufacturing and Supplying of New Wheel assembly viz the chain sprocket main wheel Size of 705mm OD of cast iron, Teeth 48 Nos 112mm Dia and Teeth 12mm thick, 14 Model Cast iron type of chain sprocket Main Wheel. Wheel ID inside Gunmetal Bush (PP metal) will be 95mm ID and OD 112mm, Wall 115mm thick. The above includes the coating of epoxy coal tar paint followed by zinc rich primer. The cost including material, all labour charges, casting charges, Model wheel charges, welding, grinding the teeth work, buffing, conveyance at site of work and fixing checking and correcting alignment of motor, gear wheel shaft and pinion wheel etc., Complete as directed by the departmental engineers. After completion of above work satisfactory test trial run should be shown to the departmental engineers.

Manufacturing and Supplying of New pinion Wheel assembly viz The Pinion wheel Size of 63mm ID and 195mm OD of, Teeth 12 Nos. The pinion wheel should be made of cast iron. The above includes the coating of epoxy coal tar paint followed by zinc rich primer. The cost including material, all labour charges, casting charges, Model wheel charges, welding, grinding the teeth work, buffing, conveyance at site of work and fixing checking and correcting alignment of motor, gear wheel shaft and pinion wheel etc., Complete as directed by the departmental engineers. After completion of above work satisfactory test trial run should be shown to the departmental engineers.

Renewal and Replacement of Limit Switches: Change of Limit switch with its necessary cable wire arrangements by providing new High performance Finger type Limit Switches with 2core PVC cable of 2.5mm size. This includes assembly plate of J type and screws with Limit of circuit. This Limit Switches is synchronized with the reduction gear for maximum & minimum Limit of operation of gate. The connectivity of Limit Switch with the shutter gear box should be checked for its effective functioning. The rate includes cost of equipments, labour charges, transportation and essential charges, etc. Complete and as directed by the departmental officers.

Repairs and Refixing of Dial Gauge arrangements in spillway shutters including the service works of dial gauge works, and post supporting pipes. Also the repair work of chain and chain sprocket work new truss bearing set is provided for its smooth functioning. The rates includes other essential material charges, Labour charges, and other drilling, fixing and machinery charges, etc, Complete and as directed by the departmental officers.
