Surface excavation in any type of soil, n.exc (not exceeding) 30 cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 mtrs outside the periphery of the area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.50 meter wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter in depth; for foundation or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pierholes, etc. not exceeding 10 sq. m on plan and getting out complete all as specified.

Removing of surplus soil/ excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing of surplus soil/ excavated material to a distance exc. 250 m and not exceeding 500 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick each,excavated soil in soft/loose soil, complete, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base

Treating the top surface of filled earth with ATT at the rate of 5 litres of emulsion per square metre of surface complete,all as specified and directed by Engineer –in-Charge .

Treating the soil along the external perimeter of building with ATT at the rate of 2.25 litre of emulsion per metre of the perimeter wall complete,all as specified and directed by Engineer –in-Charge .

Hardcore of broken stone or boulder gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge..

Cutting into existing manholes for connecting new drains, making good to pipe and rendering, cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (1/2 round or 3/4 section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-l smooth finished, and reforming benching as required for Internal dia of pipe 100 mm including disposal of unservicable rubbish outside Cantt area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.
