SPL REPAIR TO ROADS OF ATAL COLONY AND SUB DEPOT AREA AT BB CANTT, SRINAGAR IN THE AOR OF AGE B/R-II UNDER GE 864 EWS

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm depth exc 50mm but n. exc 100mm including removal of spoil outside MoD land complete all as specified and directed by Enge-in-Charge.

M&L 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates granite, trap or basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing of unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a paving bitumen a priming/tack coat bituminous primer VG-10 at 10 Kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 confirming to IS-73: 2006 @5 Kgs/ 10 Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L applying evenly a priming/tack coat of viscosity grade paving bitumen VG-10 confirming to IS-73: 2006 @3 Kgs/ 10 Sqm on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total of viscopsity grade paving bitumen VG-30 confirming to IS-73:2006) rolled and compacted to requied camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to achieve uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content 4% by weight of total mix using hotmix plant and laid by mechanical paver, and using paving bitumen VG-30 rolled with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and compacted to requied camber, gradient complete all as specified and directed. Notes for ser item No 8 & 9: (i) Preparation of mix in hotmix plant, spreading by self propelling mechanical paver and rolling and compaction by set of rollers as specified in particular specifications shall be carried out. Hot mix plant may be installed at any distance but the contractor shall be responsible and has to maintain the required temperature of mix under all conditions till it is laid and compacted. Unit rate against these items shall include for carrying out the works with depolyment of these machinery for which nothing extra shall be payable and no delay in completion of work shall be acceptable. (ii) Central computerised Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of constituents for preparation of bituminous macadam and the same shall be laid with mechanical sensor paver all as specified and directed. (iii) Over newly provided bituminous macadam surfaces, further bituminous work, if ordered, shall be provided simultaneously after provision of bituminous macadam & nο separate payment for provision of tack coat for bonding between the bituminous macadam & further bituminous work necessiated due to the time period gap or otherwise shall be made for separately. (iv) The Design mix shall be carried out from the Zonal lab/ Govt approved lab/Govt Engr College as approved by GE and design mix shall be got approved by GE before execution of the work. (v) The cost of all the above aspects shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of above item.

M&L for one coat of painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on new or old roads, pavements and the like n. exc 10cm wide with road marking paint, white or golden yellow and strictly in accordance to applicator specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
