Surface preparation of terrace including cleaning with metal wire brush to remove all dust,loose particles, fungus etc., washing with water,grinding any sharp edges etc all complete as per insruction of Engineer In Charge

Providing and laying APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer 4 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with non-woven polyester matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/sqm by the same membrane manufacture of density at 25°C, 0.87-0.89 kg/ litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using Butane Torch and sealing all joints etc, and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23°C as 650/ 450N/ 5cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 400/ 300N. Softening point of membrane not less than 150°C. Cold flexibility shall be upto -5°C when tested in accordance with ASTM, D - 5147. Resistance of impact greater tham or equal to 1000mm,Resistance to static load greater than or equal to10kg. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 4 mm thick (Mineral Slate finish) Make: APP membrane - SIKA (SikaBit T-140 MG) Bitumin Primer - SIKA WP shield primer

Providing and fixing machine moulded aluminium covering of approved pattern & design, made out of machine cut aluminium sheet and machine holed for receiving dash fastener, over APP membrance and masonry wall joints, floors, the fixing on plate in one row on one side of joint only shall be done with stainless steel dash fasteners of 8 mm dia and 75 mm long bolt including providing aluminium washers 2 mm thick & 15 mm dia , at a staggered pitch of 300mm centre to centre including drilling holes in the receiving surface and providing expandable plastic sleeves in holes etc. complete as per direction of Engineerin- charge. Anodised aluminium strip 1.5mm thick, 25 mm wide and with a lip of 6mm formed at 45 degree angle
