REPAIR TO ROOF TREATMENT AND REPAIR SUNKEN FLOOR TREATMENT AND OTHER CONNECTED ITEMS IN OTM AND MD ACCN AOR OF AGE B/R-V OF GE (N) BATHINDA AT BATHINDA MIL STN

Dismantling of brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer, on roof and disposal of retrieved material up to a distance not exceeding 100 m, wherever directed, complete as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud from roofs of any thickness, including plastering and leaping, whether the full thickness or only a part thereof is removed; including removal, cutting and uprooting of grass, vegetation, roots of small plants, etc., from roof floors, surrounding/parapet walls, etc.; including removal of rubbish and debris from the building and disposal in low-lying/empty areas as directed by AGE/JE, at any distance up to 500 metres from the site, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for repair of surface with GP-2 (General Purpose Grout) or repair mortar up to 15 mm thick, as per site condition and manufacturer’s instructions, including repair of cracks with cement admixed with polymer as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and directed. Make of Material: Sika / Fosroc / Pidilite / Asian Paints / MBTCC (BASF) / I-CanNano or technically and commercially equivalent make approved by CWE in writing from the makes mentioned in Appx ‘B’ / E-in-C’s Branch approved list.

Material and labour for cleaning surface of any loose dust, dirt or slurry by means of wire brush, dust removing brush etc. after preparation of surface treated with PU epoxy primer to seal the pores and enhance the adhesive of the coating, after primer applying single component waterproofing liquid membrane based on pure, polyurethane resin cold applied with spray, applied PU membrane shall be UV resistant with SRI (Sun Reflective Index) of 98 with an elongation of 650% +50 and tensile strength not less than 2Mpa. No leakage upto five bars of water pressure. Shore hardness >70 shall be 2.00mm (overall) DFT (Dry film thickness), In two or more layers (each layer minimum 750 micron) or as per manufacturer’s instructions so as to achieve thickness not less than 2.00mm DFT complete all as specified and as directed. Make of material : Sika / Fosroc / Pidilite / Asian Paints / MBTCC (BASF) / I-CanNano or Techno commercial equivalent make approved by CWE in writing from make mentioned in Appx 'B' / E-in-C's Br approved list. Note: - (i) Payment will be made after providing warranty certificate for 10 years from the company. (ii) The thickness of the PU membrane shall be checked with cut and seal method and the third-party test to be carried out from NABL approved lab. The sample size for check should be 50x50mm randomly at any location and kept in record.

Material and labour for providing PCC coving/gola along vertical parapets of size 75 mm × 75 mm with M20 grade concrete (nominal mix) using 20 mm crushed stone aggregate, including supply and mixing of liquid WPC in mortar as per manufacturer’s instructions per 50 kg bag of cement, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 10 mm thick cementitious, polymer-modified, two-component repair mortar with added polyamide fibres to soffits of slabs, beams, columns, parapets, fins and facias, at any height, including preparation of substrate, application and finishing, all in accordance with the technical specifications and manufacturer’s instructions, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Two-component repair mortar shall be MonoTop®-122 F of Sika or technically equivalent product of Fosroc / Pidilite Dr. Fixit / MBTCC (BASF) / I-CanNano, subject to approval.

Material and labour for making V-groove of 15 mm width and 10 mm depth along the crack line using electrically operated angle grinder with diamond concrete saw blade, including cleaning of groove with air blower and sealing of the exposed V-groove with solvent-free, moisture-tolerant, thixotropic, two-part structural adhesive and repair mortar based on epoxy resins and special fillers, suitable for application at temperatures between +10°C and +40°C, conforming to ASTM C 881-78, Type I, Grade 3, Class B+C, having compressive strength greater than 60 N/mm² at 14 days as per ASTM C 881 and bond strength greater than 10 N/mm² at 7 days as per ASTM C 882, including all required scaffolding/ladders, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Material and labour for providing PCC padding to maintain the required roof slope and benching with PCC (1:2:4), Type B-0, using WPC as per manufacturer’s instructions, along side walls adjoining the roof in concave shape, including all necessary preparation, mixing, laying, compaction, finishing and curing, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: WPC shall be measured and paid for separately.

Taking down cement or cement-lime plaster from brick walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking the surface to provide key, scrubbing down with water and all other necessary operations, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for providing 15 mm thick ready-mix cement plaster on external surfaces of brick walls, chajjas, fins and concrete surfaces, including preparation of surface, application, levelling, finishing smooth, even and fair, curing and all necessary materials, labour, tools and incidental works, complete as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
