| 9.00 | Custom Design & Development of Integrated Simulation Engine - Software Development
The project includes the custom development of an interactive simulation software platform, purpose-built to support the exhibit’s educational and immersive objectives. At its core, the software will feature highly detailed 3D animated content that visually represents the traditional iron smelting process in an engaging and culturally authentic manner. Embedded logic to simulate different stages of smelting: ore addition, charcoal ignition, furnace heating, and bloom formation. The visual environment will include realistic 3D models of the furnace, and other smelting elements, enhanced with dynamic lighting, particle effects, and textures to simulate heat, flame behaviours.
The simulation will be designed for real-time responsiveness, dynamically adapting based on user interactions through foot-operated bellows pumping. Inputs from integrated sensors will be captured and processed by the system to trigger precise changes in the audio-visual output. This interactive experience enhances both educational impact and physical engagement. The software will feature a highly intuitive and visually rich User Interface (UI), designed to guide users of all ages through the smelting process. Clear on-screen prompts, iconography, progress indicators, and stage-based animations will support user understanding and engagement. | 1 | Each | 29,85,000 ₹35,22,300 | 31,00,000 ₹36,58,000 | 26,76,000 ₹31,57,680 Lowest |
| 9.10The User Experience (UX) will be thoughtfully designed to ensure a smooth, accessible interaction flow—from initial instructions through each phase of the smelting simulation—encouraging active exploration while maintaining historical context and accuracy. Overall, the simulation software will function as the central digital engine of the exhibit, bridging mechanical interaction with dynamic storytelling. By combining responsive 3D content that is real-time user-driven, and an intuitive user interface, the system will deliver a deeply immersive, educational, and memorable experience that captures the spirit of traditional iron smelting through a modern interactive. | ||||||

Custom Design & Development: Mechatronics and System Integration The project includes the design, development, and integration of an interactive exhibit that simulates a traditional iron smelting process through a combination of mechanical interaction and real-time digital feedback. A foot-operated air blower mechanism, designed in the traditional forge bellows style, will allow users to manually simulate airflow into a virtual furnace, with calibrated resistance and stroke for an authentic tactile experience with integrated embeded microprocessor controller unit . A touchscreen kiosk will be fabricated for user interaction, while a wall-mounted digital display will showcase the furnace visuals in real time. Sensors integrated into the mechanical components will capture physical interactions to drive changes in the display and audio systems. All cabling, mounting, and hardware integration will be executed with attention to safety, aesthetics, and durability for public use. The entire unit—including the kiosk housing, foot pedal assembly, and structural supports—will be custom-fabricated using robust materials, with protective casing for all exposed parts to ensure long-term reliability in high-traffic environments.
