MAINTENANCE OF DIESEL ENGINE: Fortnightly Operation & Maintenance of diesel engine set for fire fighting pumps:Ref serial no. 3 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Qty: 7 engines X 2 time/month X 12 months = 168 nos.

Maintenance of sluice valve/butterfly valve/GM gate valve/non-return valve/air valve/siamese connection/yard hydrants

General Maintenance of under ground sluice valve/butterfly valve/non-return valve/Air valve :Half yearly maintenance of sluice valves/butterfly valve/non return valves of size up to 200NB installed on ring mains in under ground chamber.Ref serial no. 4 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Qty: 252 valves X 2 half years = 504 nos.

General Maintenance of above ground sluice valve/butterfly valve/non-return valve : Half yearly maintenance of above ground sluice valves/butterfly valve/NRV valve of size up to 200 mm dia on suction & delivery side of jockey pump and on delivery side of main pump at MPH, AERB & OYC and above ground valves at other location.Ref serial no. 5 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Qty: 157 valves X 2 half years = 314 nos.

Break down Maintenance of FF Pumps/jockey pump/Booster Pump: Decoupling & dismantling of pump, removing cloged of impeller, replacement of bearings, replacement of flywheel-stud, replacement of mechanical seal of the pump, fitting/assemly of pump, ensuring proper alignment of pump-motor/diesel set and trial/testing for proper functioning, complete all as per instruction of EIC. Ref serial no. 6 of Details specification for the maintenance work.

Break down Maintenance of under ground/above ground sluice valve/butterfly valve/non-return valve up to 200NB : Replacement of Sluice Valve/Butterfly valve/NRV, replacement of internal part of valves, replacement of sealing rubber, changing of flange gasket & nut bolt and cleaning external/internal parts of valves etc. Ref serial no. 7 of Details specification for the maintenance work.

Attending break down of under ground/above ground pipe lines (50-200NB): Isolating the leakage point by closing the isolation valves, transportation of materials (pipe & fittings ), cutting & removing and replacement of leaky portion of pipe by new piece of pipe, making welding/flange joint including nut-bolts & gasket and hydro-testing by operating the existing main pump connected from the system. Ref serial no.8 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Note-Pipe & fittings shall be provided by the Department at free of cost.

MAINTENANCE OF SIAMESE CONNECTION: Half yearly maintenance of siamese connection including maintenance of NRV & sluice valve. Qty: 20 siamese conn.X 2 half yrs = 40 Ref serial no.9 of Details specification for the maintenance work.

MAINTENANCE OF HYDRANT POST: Half yearly maintenance of morris patern yard hydrans and pillar type yard hydrants along with sluive valve above ground/under ground : Ref serial no. 10 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Qty: 482 hyd valves X 2 half years = 964 nos

FOOT VALVE-MAINTENANCE: Maintenance of foot valve of size up to 200NB : Ref serial no. 11 of Details specification for the maintenance work.

REFIXING OF HOSE DRUM SET: Removing the existing hose reel drum set from the fire duct of Shantiniketan building, refixing out of fire duct and making connection with the riser through a hole being drill in the wall.

MONTHLY RISER FLUSHING: Monthly cleaning & riser flushing through hose reel at each floor by operating the existing main FF pump/jockey pump and attending minor leakage if any . Riser flushing of the following buildings.

SURFACE CLEANING OF SIGNAGE & RE-FIXING: Surface cleaning of existing fire safety signage such as EXIT/Floor No,/Staircase/Fire Lift/Do not use stairs../ Booster Pump- Starter/Fire Extinguisher/Fire Alarm Call point etc provided in the residentialbuildings/official buildings and re-fixing if any includes providing of MS hook, plastic plug, wire/chain etc.

Monthly cleaning of Pump Houses and Pump sets: Monthly cleaning of Pump Houses & machineries : Inside Pump House, floor & basement cleaning, surface cleaning of all the FF pumps, engines along with fuel tank including air cushion tank & valves, piping, dewatering. Cutting of bushes, grass, wild vegitation by weed cutter/power weeder & cleaning of storm water drain around pump house inside fencing & disposal of waste of following pump houses. i) Fire pump room at main pump house ii) Pump House-D iii) Pump House-G iv) Pump House-H v) Pump House-K vi) V S Bhavan Pump House vii) AERB Pump House viii) Kanchanjanga Pump House ix) Kedarnath pump house x) CISF Pump house xi) Poornima FF Pump House xii) Jerlina FF Pump House Qty: 12 pump house X 12 months = 144 nos.

Painting of exposed pipe & fitting of fire fighting systems and naming & numbering of pumps, risers, fire shaft, yard hydrants installed in Anushaktinagar. Before applying of paint external steel surfaces of machineries valves, piping, fitting, accessories etc. shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove rust/scale and application of red oxide wherever required. All Exposed piping of various sizes in pump house/terrace of the building/risers of the building, hydrant post, booster pump set, main FF pump set, jockey pump set, diesel engine pump set, air cushion tank, fuel tank, hose boxes, Siamese connection, all sluice valves/NRVs, landing valves, & all MS supports etc. of each FF system shall be painted with two coats of post office red colored Synthetic enamel finish paint. This item included painting materials & red oxide.

Preventive Maintenance of Motor & Starter: Half yearly preventive maintenance of motor ( up to 150 HP) & its starter panels at various pump houses in Anushaktinagar as per check list/tender specifications, submission of maintenance report including providing of required materials such as lugs,interconnecting wires, over load relays, timers , contactors etc. as required for maintenance and as instruction of E.I.C. Ref serial no. 14 of Details specification for the maintenance work. Qty: 70 motors X 2 half years = 140 nos.

WELDING WORKS: Preparing 'V' groove at the edge, aligning of pipe/fttings and welding by efficient welder for rectification of pipe leakage. All but weld joints for pipe to pipe, pipe to fitting shall be of single V groove joints and root & final pass shall be DPT. ESAB make welding rod shall confirm to IS: 814/1957(latest rivision)

PCC WORK: Plain cement concrete 1:2:4 using graded stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including compaction, finishing, curing, cost of form work, shuttering, centering and disposal of debris out side of colony etc. all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

RE-WINDING OF MOTOR: Rewinding of the following 3-phase/1-phase,415V/240V,50Hz, squirrel cage induction motors with enamelled copper coil/conductor, including providing ‘F’ Class insulation, varnishing, forming of end connections, silver brazing of series joints etc., spraying the rewound stator with Class ‘F’ resin, varnish, curing & spraying the stator with final coat of ‘F’ insulation, moisture protection and finally coated with anti tracking and anti acid finishing & varnishing and applying gel coating etc. including metalizing of end shield, machining, replacement of bearings, terminal plate etc. and complete dismantling of motor, stator rewinding, etc. transportation of motor from site to work shop and back after repairing including loading and unloading the motor at site and workshop, installation, alignment, testing, commissioning all as directed to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge, conducting following test in presence of Deptt. Engineer at factory etc. complete. & submitting test certificate all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 1. Insulation resistance test. 2. Measurement of resistance of motor winding. 3. No load test. 4. Reduced voltage running up test. 5. High voltage test. Note: i)There are 2 nos. of motors submersible type with rating of 45 HP,hence water seals gaskets and other required materials for rewinding of submersible motors shall be considered in the scope of work. ii) Dismantled copper shall be taken away by contractor and hence suitable credit for taking of dismantled scrap copper winding shall be included in the quoted rates. iii)The motor to be decoupled from pump, transport from site to the workshop and back to site and installed in position at the risk and cost of contractor. iv) Rewinded motor shall be guaranteed for a period of 06 months from date of delivery motor and defects shall rectified free of cost.

Part - B: SITC of materials. Design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Motor driven Centrifugal Horizontal split case / End suction Booster Pump Set with a flow capacity of 450 lpm and total head of 35 m, with CI casing, standard fittings, bronze impeller, along with all accessories, suitably rated squirrel cage, energy efficient (EF-1) induction motor as electrical drive with synchronous speed not exceeding 3000 rpm, Class-F insulation, IP-55, rated to operate at 415 v +/- 10%, 50 Hz +/- 3%, 3 phase, AC supply, including supply of MS common base plate frame and installing pump and motor on it alongwith foundation bolts, coupling guard, anti vibration pads and other accessories etc, necessary copper cabling/wiring/end connection/termination work, connection of pump with existing suction & delivery pipe, construction of RCC foundation 150 mm wider than base plate all around, complete as per specifications, drawings and instructions of E-I-C. The pump offered shall be of fire fighting duty and its characteristics shall be as per TAC and also as per IS-12469-1988 or its latest edition.

Providing & Replacement of gear ring of flywheel and pinion/Bendes of self-starter: Decoupling of pump-engine set and disconnection of suction delivery the pump, shifting of pump outward to make room for removing of flywheel, dismantling the gear ring from flywheel, providing of gear-ring as per the same part name & fixing the same on the flywheel by heating if required, fitting of flywheel, coupling of engine & pump and testing to ensure proper functioning.

AIR RELEASE VALVE: Providing & Fixing of 25mm dia. (Type- PN 1.0) air valve confirming to IS- 14845:2000 with gun metal isolating valve including making necessary flanged/ threaded joints and providing all fitting materials, nuts, bolts, etc. and providing ‘T’ on D.I. /M.S. Pipeline for its installation and shall be tested as per specifications all as per specification and as directed by E.I.C.

SS-304 instantaneous male coupling with blank cap, chain etc. suitable for mounting on 100/150 mm MS pipe with all fittings for fixing and painting with 2 coats of signal red anti corrosive paint over 2 coats of red oxide primer etc. all complete and as directed by Engineer in charge.

BALL VALVE: Supply of SS Ball valve of size 20 mm dia, Zoloto make

NIDDLE VALVE: Supply of SS Niddle valve of size 15 mm dia, Zoloto make

PRESSURE GAUGE (0 - 14 Kg/sq-cm): Providing of glycerine filled pressure gauges with dial of 100 mm dia size and range 0 to 14 kg/sq.cm and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and fixing the same wherever required and duly tested after installation as directed by E-I-C.

PRESSURE GAUGE (0 - 21 Kg/sq-cm): Providing of glycerine filled pressure gauges with dial of 150 mm dia size and range 0 to 21 kg/sq.cm and complete in all respects with shut off gauge, cocks , all fittings etc, duly calibrated before installation in MKS and FPS units and fixing the same wherever required and duly tested after installation as directed by E-I-C.

Rubber Hose Reel: Supply, installation,testing & commissioning of Rubber Hose Reel of 20 mm dia. X 30 m long comprising of 3 layers confirming to IS: 444 with SS shut off nozzle including PDI. Make M/s Ganga Rubber/Jyoti

NUT-BOLTS: Supply of carbon steel nut-bolts of various size confirming to ASTM F568 class 8.8

SS ALDROP: Providing & fixing of approved quality non-magnetic stainless steel aldrop 250 mm long & 16 mm dia solid barrel and fixture and fastener of M/s Shalimar/Reema manufaccturer along with necessary CP MS screw, nut-bolts, washer etc. as per approved sample

PAD LOCKS: Providing & fixing of 6 lever Pad lock with brass internal parts & body of M/s Godrej make with 96 nos. of brass materials master key with nos. key ring & SS tag strip of size 20X70X1 mm on which name of building, floor/wing number & key number shall be written by punching as specification & directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

KEY BOX: Providing & fixing of key box fabricated with 1 mm thick GI sheet of size 15cmX15cmX7cm having front glass(9cmX9cm)in openable door & locking arrangement with pad lock & screw, key hanging pin inside box including small brass pad lock. Box shall be painted with red paint & written as Fire Shaft-Key, complete as per specification & instruction of EIC.

KEY: Providing duplicate brass key for 6-lever pad lock

DI FITTINGS: Suuply of DI specials/fittings confirming to IS:9523

LEAD-ACID BATTERY: Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 12 volts, XP 1800 lead-acid battery of M/s Exide make. Rate to be quoted considering rebate on old battery(5 Nos.) which will be taken back by agency for disposal.

Fabrication of valve chamber cover: Structural steel work at all levels using Angles, channels, chequered plates, pipes etc. of suitable sizes including anchor fasteners wherever necessary including supplying, cutting, fabricating, welding,erecting and fixing in position including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade & make over a coat of approved steel primer etc. complete all as per drawing, specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Raising of existing under ground valve-chamber: Removing the existing RCC chamber cover & placing again after height raising of chamber, raising the height of valve chamber of size 1200X1200 mm up to 400 mm by construction of 230 mm thick bricks masonry in cement mortar 1:6 , cement plaster 20mm thick with cement mortar ratio of 1:4 both inside & outside & all exposed surfaces finished with a coat of neat cement, necessary cement concrete 1:2:4 seating for RCC covers at top curing etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

Rewiring of self starter/Alternator/Battery/control Panel of engine: Providing copper wire, replacement of exisiting wiring of self starter, alternater, battery & control panel on engine body including connectors/end joints and testing to ensure the proper functioning.
