REPLACEMENT OF OLD DAMAGED L. T. OVERHEAD SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM OF SECURITY BASTIONS AND PERIMETER LIGHTING ALONG FACTORY PERIMETER WALL, BY UNDERGROUND CABLE SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, INSIDE FACTORY AT O. F. CHANDA.

Excavation in trenches n.exc.1.5 meter wide and 1.5 meter depth in soft loose soil ( to be carried out manually) and getting out for laying of L T. cable in underground , all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.

Cutting opening / Demolition of cement concrete of any description, all as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge

M& L for provision of sand cushion of 07 cm. thick for L.T. cable, all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.

Supply, laying in excavated cable trenches and testing of PVC insulated galvanized steel flat strip armoured and overall PVC sheathed heavy duty electric cable with stranded Aluminium conductor, 1100 volt grade of size 3&1/2 core, 120 sq. mm, confirming to IS- 1554 ( P-1)/ 1988. (Make- Unistar / Finolex / Havells/ RPG/ KEI/ RR ), all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge. NOTE – Inspection and testing of cable will be carried out by factory representative at manufacturer’s premises only.

(Make- Unistar / Finolex / Havells / RPG / KEI /RR ) , all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge. NOTE – Inspection and testing of cable will be carried out by factory representative at manufacturer’s premises only.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast cement concrete cable covers of class LV, type 1, flat size 250 X 150 X 40 mm duly marked ‘ELECTRIC‘ as per IS 5820- 1970, all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling and well ramming in layers of excavated soft loose soil in trenches and making good distributed surface all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.

Supply and Fixing of Earthing complete with G.I. earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick buried directly in the ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 25X4 mm as earthing lead upto test point and connection point within 7.5 meter from earth pit, all as specified and shown in electrical plate no. 3 of SSR part 1 and testing on completion, all as per the direction of Engineer-In-charge.
