Comprehencive maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment and Fire alarm System including testing functionality of all components cleaning, greasing the pumps, (5 HP to 12.5 HP) hose reel, hydrant valve etc. Replacement of defective spares/ components, compirising of following installed at MAP Kodariya & 110 Single Offrs Accn at MCTE (Ground + Six Floor + Terrace), Half yearly Maintenance, check up and Demonstration with users, preparing of log book and periodic report of Fire hydrent system and Fire Alarm System along with servicing. all as specified and directed. ( Spares required for replacement, shall be messured seperatly as supply only under respective items)

The fire fighting system consists the following :- (a) Terrace fire pump (b) Hydrant Valve (c) Branch Pipe (d) Hose Box Double Door (e) Hose Reel (f) Fire Brigade inlet &valve (g) Non Return Valve (h) Butterfly Valve (j) Air release valve NOTE :- (i) The comprehensive/preventive periodical maint include Half yearly, inspection testing as per service manual. The inspection/test report will be submitted to Engr-in-Charge. (ii) The AMC shall be in force immediately after issue of Work Order No 1 commencement date.

S&F in Replacement 63 mm dia 15 mtr long hose conforming to IS 636 complete with male and female coupling conforming to IS 903

M&L for Sheet glass of size 5.5mm thick, ordinary quality and glazing complete with rubber gasket including cutting of glass in oval shape of size not exceeding 0.5SQM Each all as directed by Engr-in-Charge at site.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins / spring clips / removing beads etc, including making good breakages in taking out and providing for fixing of new one all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cleaning of balancing tank from bottom and side walls by scrubbing with wire brush and removing mud collected at the bottom and mud outside empty land, two coat of synthetic enamel paint on entire inner surface complete all as specified and directed.

Opening complete pressure filter of capacity 20,000 Gallons and taking out existing filter media (sand, gravels any size) and pipe, removing filter media to a distance not exceeding 50 metre for reuse at site, including necessary repair/ welding to make the pressure filter vessels completely leak proof for improving the strength. Cleaning of pressure filters by scraping with the help of hard steel wire brusshes and physical cleaning of surfaces by descarding/brooming slit and sludges and other deposites from inner side. Collecting and taking them out with the help of mannual labour and deposite outside the installation and finally re-assembling the pressure filter including re-fixing of pip in existing position duly cleaned complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old painted steel / iron surfaces of pressure filter by scrapping and cleaning of external surface and applying two coats of aluminium paint (1st grade) over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of existing filter media (Gravel and Sand) in hydro-chloric acid (HCL) and cleaning with fresh water to remove acid contents etc. complete

Re-filling of old gravels of various size in descending order in the pressure filter beds, sizes varying from 02 mm to 10 mm thickness of the gravel layers to be kept as directed.

Re-filling old filter media (sand) in the filter bed complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and filling filter media (gravels) in filter bed, filter media shall be confirming to IS-8419 part-I 1997, all as specified and directed.

M&L for Overhauling of Pump set complete with motor of any capacity 5 HP to 12.5 HP and any make by after disconnecting of all electrical and water connections and removing/taking up from the foundation, taking to civil workshop for repairing or repair the same at the site (Pump house) by changing the defective/unserviceable parts such as bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, gland plate etc. complete. Re-assembling including oiling, greasing replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, gaskets etc. and refixing in its original position at site, making all connections, commissioning and testing etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (a) The rates for minor items like nuts, bolts, gaskets etc essential for functioning of pump and transportation charges are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (b) Ball bearing, impeller, shaft etc are replaced as per requirement shall be measured and paid seperatily.

M&L for rewinding of motors of any make by removing of burnt copper winding and rewinding with supper enameld copper insulated winding wire of required size and number of turns, varnishing and baking, testing for operation and painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint for the following capacity . Note : (a) The rates for transportation charges are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for cutting GI pipe of any dia and running welding in repairs (thickness of metal to be welded not exc 6 mm) including necessary cleaning and preparing the surfaces to be welded together complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
