Surface excavation n.exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out soft/loose soil.

Excavating in trenches not exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundations, etc, or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and not exceeding 10 square meter on plan for manholes etc and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in with approved excavated soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 metres and depositing where directed at a level nexc. 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for broken stone or boulder hardcore of gauge n exe 63mm deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exe 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface.

Materials and Labour for Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified.

Materials and Labour for formwork to sides of concrete foundation, footing, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beam; and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (nominal mix) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams, plinth beams; bases for columns, etc; basement slabs under reamed pillars and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Steel reinforcement shall be measured & paid separately)
