Renovation of Boundary Wall of central store Govind Nagar Kanpur

Dismantling of old and damaged existing boundary wall including cleaning, removal and stacking of serviceable bricks/materials as direction of engineer-in-charge

Earthwork in excavation for foundation, including dressing of sides and disposal/stacking of excavated earth as direction of engineer-in-charge.

Cement Concrete (PCC) work 1:4:8 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 brick ballast) in foundation, using well-burnt broken brick ballast of specified nominal size, including breaking of departmental bricks into required size of brick ballast by the Contractor, preparation of bed, proportioning of ingredients, machine/manual mixing, conveying, laying in position, compacting, finishing, watering and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 456:2000 and other relevant Indian Standards. Cement and whole bricks shall be provided by the Department free of cost at the departmental store/site. The Contractor shall be responsible for breaking the supplied bricks into the required size of brick ballast and shall provide coarse sand, water, labour, tools and plants, machinery, carriage, loading, unloading, handling and all other materials and incidental works required for proper completion of the work. The rate shall include the cost of breaking/crushing of bricks into brick ballast.

Brick masonry in cement mortar 1:4, in 40/35/23 cm width, using 1st class old bricks in wall below foundation/plinth level, as per drawing and direction of engineer -in-charge.

Providing and fixing centering and shuttering/formwork for RCC works for plinth beam, column, etc including removal after completion, complete in all respects as per drawing and direction of engineer-in-charge.

Construction of Reinforced Cement Concrete of minimum grade M20 in pillars/columns, using graded stone aggregate of approved quality and size, including machine mixing, laying, vibrating/compacting and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 456:2000.

Construction of Reinforced Cement Concrete of M20 grade at plinth level, using graded stone aggregate of 20 mm nominal size, including machine mixing, laying in position, vibrating/compacting, finishing and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 456:2000 and IS 383:2016. Cement and M.S. reinforcement bars shall be supplied by the Department free of cost at the departmental store/site; all other materials, labour, tools, plant, machinery, carriage, handling and incidental charges shall be included in the rate.

Constructing 23 cm thick brick masonry in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), using new first-class common burnt clay building bricks , including soaking of bricks, mixing of mortar, laying, jointing, scaffolding and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 2212:1991, IS 2250:1981 and IS 1077:2025. Bricks shall be supplied by the Department free of cost at the departmental store/site. The rate shall include all other materials, labour, tools and plants, carriage, handling and all incidental charges required for the proper completion of the work

Applying /Doing cement plaster in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 sand) on boundary wall surfaces, including preparation and cleaning of surface, raking out joints, watering, mixing of mortar, providing necessary scaffolding, applying plaster to the specified thickness, finishing and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 1661:1972, IS 2402:1963 and IS 1542:1992. Cement shall be supplied by the Department free of cost at the departmental store/site. The rate shall include sand, water, labour, scaffolding, tools and plants, carriage, handling and all other incidental charges required for proper completion of the work.

Construction and laying Cement Concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate) above the boundary wall, using approved quality graded stone aggregate of specified nominal size, including preparation of surface, proportioning of materials, machine mixing, conveying, laying in position, compacting, finishing to the required line, level and profile, and curing, complete in all respects as per drawings, specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge, conforming to IS 456:2000 and IS 383:2016. Cement shall be supplied by the Department free of cost at the departmental store/site. The contractor shall provide stone aggregate, sand, water, labour, tools and plants, machinery, carriage, loading, unloading, handling and all other materials and incidental charges necessary for proper completion of the work.
