Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not other wise provided for complete all as specified and as directed

S&F Welded steel wire fabric cut to length,bent to shape required and tying with and including annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or fixing with galvanised steel staples supplied and fixed complete to wood or steel members not excceding 4Kg/Sqm complete all as specified and directed..

Taking down and refixing the same steel gate not exc 3 sqm each pane after repair of rusted or damaged portion of the gate including pivate,holdfast,stoper,locking arrangement,pintal etc and necessary greasing to pivate with or including spot welding,running welding complete all as specified and as directed

Taking down and refixing the same steel gate exc 3 sqm but n exc 5.00 sqm each pane after repair of rusted or damaged portion of the gate including pivate,holdfast,stoper,locking arrangement,pintal etc and necessary greasing to pivate with or including spot welding,running welding complete all as specified and as directed

M&L 40mm thick second class hard wood boarding to be placed in watch tower as in floor plank one side fixed with nails (with butt joints) with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and as directed .

Removing the existing sand from the firing butt and refilling in the same area after seiving the sand with out any fired bullet scrap, pebbles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay river sand (M sand prohibited) for filling sloppy in firing butt of height average 3.2m including necesaary watering complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only saw dust and mixing with sand in proportion as directed including filling in the firing butt complete all as specified and directed.

M&L sand filling with river sand (M sand prohibited) in jute bag of 50 Kg capacity after screening, stiching the bag with hand machine and stacked/placed upto 1.5m heightcomplete all as specified and directed.

M&L Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc includig dismantling of existing damaged fencing complete all as specified and as directed (Note: Each line of wire to be measured).

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil for dismantling existing damaged fencing posts any type complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Plain Cement Concrete, type C-1, 1:3:6 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation of fencing post, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L mild steel Posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc. flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 including dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or RCC) any section alongwith fencing any type complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only Chain link mesh, made of 3mm dia galvanised wire, confirming to IS 2712.2003 and having zinc coating, heavy type,as laid down in IS 4826 including line wires/ binding wire etc fixed to any type of standards posts complete all as specified and as directed.

Straining and fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh size and type of to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts etc including provision 10mm dia MS bars as line wire welded to fencing posts and MS flat iron for fixing fencing wire mesh complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item 16:- Supply only 10mm dia round bars and chain link fencing shall be measured and paid vide relevent item. However, labour aspect for fixing is deemed to be included in this item.

Supply only 10mm dia round bars, cut to length ,hooking ends as in wooven/ straining bar (stiches through chain link fencing between post) complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repairs rolled Mild Steel work including cleats, brackets, etc.,and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M & L two coats of painting on steel and iron surfaces over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item 20:- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces and applying two coats of Exterior emulsion anti fungal paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item 29:- (a) Exterior emulsion paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint will be approved by the GE.

M&L complete removal and preparation of old steel surface of Watch Towers of height 10 to 15 mtr of any description over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed

Note for item 38:- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(j) The above item No 38 shall be executed on watch tower for repair/ maint, which are scattered in a periphery of 4-5 KM distance and height of watch tower is upto 15 mtr.

(k) Due to security reason towers will be handed over for repair/ maint work in phase manner. No compensation or extra claim shall be admissible due to loss of manhours.

(l) The unit rate quoted for this item is deemed to include for removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm lying around approaches, cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine around 3 m from plinth protection and removing the grass waste to outside MD land.

(m) Necessary boom lift/ scaffolding required for working upto 15 mtr height from natural ground level will be arranged by the contractor and cost for the same shall deem to be included in the unit quoted rate.

(n) Necessary safety arrangement like safety belts,ropes,helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 15 mtr height shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive in unit quoted rate quoted.

M&L Rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 1000 Ltrs capacity (three layer white colour) cylinderical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 25mm bore for inlet and outlet, 25mm bore ball valves high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod & high density plastic ball hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I including taking down of old unserviceable tank complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment. (Fe 410 -W (Gde- E-250) quality -A including dismantling of existing one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass not exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass exc 0.5 sqm each pane complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 100mm thick, Plain Cement Concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregates), as in hardstanding including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement, including demolition of existing concrete and removal of debris to outside MD land to a distance exc 1.5 km but not exceeding 5.0 km complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 56 :- The concrete shall be laid in alternate bays at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length in each bay and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

Taking down carefully any type of steel rolling shutters, of size exc. 5 Sqm but n. exc. 15 Sqm each , inspecting/notifying the defective springs, bearings, shaft, side guides, Gear box, Gear box, etc including greasing and replacement of unserviceable/ defective parts and re fixing in the same and releasing the tension in the springs, lowering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge

M&L 75 mm thick Plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate ) as in sub base , filling and mass concrete or as in receiving tiles/ surface channels and drains etc including demolition of existing cocrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cmx30cmx25mm thick machine pressed set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry as in floors and cut and polished using grey cement and pigments over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) including demolition of existing tile complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 60 :- The manufacturer's test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation/fixing. .

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises and Material and labour for new Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450 x 300 mm x 7/8 mm thick set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with tiles on vertical surface such as dado including 10mm thick, cement mortar( 1:3) backing coat complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing rubbish off the premises and Joint free Non - skid Ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/ rectangular) area of each tile of size exc 0.09 Sqm but n exc 0.18 Sqm in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match incuding screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as directed.

Complete removal of existing water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slabof any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD land and providing following :-

(a) Dismantling existing cement concrete/roof tiles on roof including removing debris to out side MD land as directed.

(b) Bring upto the slope by providing filling of light weight materials sch as cinder, light weight concrete etc as required, and then providing PCC 1:2:4 type B1 of average thickness of 50mm.

(c) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement.

(d) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.4 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried.

(e) Providing APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 4kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surgace with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete.

(f) Over the APP membrane, apply evenly a tack coat of hot air blown bitumen of grade 85/25 at the rate of 1.20 kg per sqm including cleaning of surface.

(g) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 100 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed.

(h) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface.

S&F Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.4mm fixed to existing members including taking down existing one complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in repairs Hardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the boundary as edging with PCC 1:3:6, type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregates)complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 75 :- The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land

Demolition of brick work masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, pillars etc., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Fly ash Brick work using old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No79 :- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

S&F Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheet complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing roof sheetas specified

Note for Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L 75mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-1 (using 20 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), laid in 1:20 slope as in plinth protection/path including making joints at 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement including demolition of existing damaged concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 88 :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 90 :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately.

(b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

Supply only water proofing compound

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall/ ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L in repairs for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 60mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including M sand cushion of 50mm thick and packing the boundary as edging with PCC 1:3:6 using 20mm graded stone aggregate to have proper compaction complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 96 :- The Unit rate quoted is included for Demolition of Stone Slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors,aprons etc laid bedded and pointed in any mortar and removing of debris outside of MD land

Supply and fixing lock/ middle rail of size 200mm wide of second class hard wood 35mm thick including making of grooves and fixing new middle rail by replacing defecting rail using fevicol and wooden pinning complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing stiles/ top and freeze rails of size 100mm wide of second class hard wood 35mm thick including making of grooves and fixing new top rail by replacing defecting rail using fevicol and wooden pinning complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs stainless steel letters 12 inch height made out of 1 mm thick stainless steel plate, cut folded, welded to required shape including fixing on the granite with bolt nuts etc all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge./steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs stainless steel letters 8 inch height made out of 1 mm thick stainless steel plate, cut folded, welded to required shape including fixing on the granite with bolt nuts etc all as directed by Engineer -in-Charge./steel surface complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs stainless steel 1mm thick sheet logo of Airforce exceeding 0.15 Sqm but not exceeding 0.34 Sqm including necessary fitting complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs Granite 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished) in steps,Jamps, Pillars, Windows, cills, platforms and like CM (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigments to match with marble shade of Granite over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick for laying floor finishes in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and injecting chemical for post constructional Anti Termite Treatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hold, 300 mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors all as specified and directed.
